My wife and I searched for a “seasoned” wok for quite some time. Unseasoned woks are reasonably priced however the process to season is quite cumbersome and extensive. This wok is well seasoned and made with excellence, non-stick, and cleans easy. WELL worth it’s price.

This is the best wok that I have ever used and well worth the money. I would have never been able to season the wok myself as well as it has been seasoned. Nothing sticks!! I also purchased the ring and the curved spatula to go with it. Very pleased.

Very special carbon steel wok, very strong, no need to season, I am engaged in metal smelting process, the production company's seasoning work must be manually done, the handle is in a high temperature environment, the brown mark left by the sweat cross, remember It is not a rust spot, I must give praise, so that more people can have it!

I bought this to cook over live coals in my Kamado style cookers. Did a shrimp stir fry right away. I had read that using a quality wok on high heat would make a difference. It absolutely does!!! I got it hot enough that the first time I put grapeseed oil in, it started to flame. As soon as I added food, the flame died & the veggies took on a beautiful sear. Using this preseasoned Wok gave the meal a flavor I’ve never been able to accomplish before. Great product!!!

This is the second time I bought the wome of the Timoney merchant. Unlike the last time, this is pre-seasoned,thicker, and the handle is welded. It has been used to cook many oriental dishes for friends.

I have owned many woks This is by far the best. I have arte out of them in China and Japan, so I do know what one should be like, Great workmanship and heavy as required,I liked the plus side on not having to season it

I have three woks, but this is my favorite, very special carbon steel products. Strong endurance, the handle is comfortable. There is a little scratch on the surface, I have consulted and in my experience, it is produced from long-term transportation in Asia. It doesn't matter, it can be used normally. After cooking, it will disappear into the added protective layer.

It is always important to compare some more similar items before buying. After doing some more research, I decided to go with this 1.8 mm carbon steel round bottom wok. It arrives with well protected box. The wok looks great. I used to make fried rice and/or fried noodles with chicken or pork. I like the wooden handle because it means no more heat resistant gloves. As it does not require heat resistant gloves, my hand can perfectly grab the handle with better control on the wok! Besides, the wok is in average weight. Not too light, not too heavy. Furthermore, the heat gets to the wok surface evenly and rapidly! While cooking, I have to stir the ingredients quite often. Thanks to the round bottom, this is the best part I like. I know many other wok are great, but most of them have flat bottom which makes the wok a bit shallow. If not shallow, it must be too big to grab by myself. Finally, this is the great wok I've been looking for. With the round bottom, I can easily stir without getting food out of the wok. Having such Timoneylove Pre-Seasoned Carbon Steel Pow Wok Red Elm Traditional Hand Hammered Stir-Fry Pan with Helper Wooden Handle (14 Inch, Round Bottom Wok), I feel I've got what chefs are using in Chinese food restaurant. A side note -- Remember to buy a wok ring or a wok rack if your stove is flat. With this wok, all are great!!
