Ordered, Delivered and Works
Loved it. Take your time when doing this. 4 parts, key holder, top of fob case and bottom of fob case and screw. Put the key into the holder, then put the holder in the bottom of new fob case. Then put the fob body into the top of the case (has holes for the buttons). Then attach fob top to fob bottom. Start from the end and then slowly apply pressure from end to top. It should snap in place. Attach screw. Take your time.

Works perfectly for both of our 2008 and 2010 Hondas, but there's a trick to it.
Perfectly replaced our mangled Honda 2008 and 2010 key fobs. The first assembly of three total was not perfect due to a lack of instructions. Here is the trick to perfect assembly... After inserting your cut key into the the small sleeve, take notice of the two small keyways (females) at the ends of each wing at the top (hidden portion of the key). DO NOT try to merely press this into the area where it would logically fit. There are two almost invisible tabs (males) that fit into the keyways on the cut key. Pressing down will not engage these keyways, but will instead bend them over. In any case the two halves of the fob will not fit together properly. The proper assembly of the cut key into the fob requires that you slide the sleeve/cut key assembly onto the tabs. Then place the transmitter unit where it belongs, press together for a perfect fit, then use the small screw provided. It's as good as new.

looks like the original
My Honda car keys had been wobbly for a while and finally broke off the fob. This replacement case works like a charm. I was able to screw the key in and secure it with no problem, it looks like an original key and it feels pretty solid. if the case falls apart I will update but the quality seems good so it should be good.

Works for 2011 Honda Insight
My wife broke her key. The plastic shell broke in a way that the oem case wouldn’t work. This fit without any issues.

Perfect replacement for my 2010 Honda CR-V
Pulled the guts from the old broken case and slipped them into this one, easily and quickly. The screw hole and that of my key did seem to be a hair off center, but it still screwed and closed. After clicking the case closed it appeared that the seam between the two halves wasn't making a completely flush and tight closure. I haven't had any issues from that lack of uniform closure and no longer notice it, unless I specifically spin the key and examine the seam.

Works perfectly w/ 2011 Honda Civic key.
Fits great! I've bought and returned about 5 or 6 "fob shell replacements" because they all came with blank keys that couldn't be removed from the shell itself; so happy I finally found a replacement shell that didn't come with a blank key at all! I'm even more pleasantly surprised that the Honda logo is one the back; every other one I've gotten either had a manufacturer/seller's logo, or simply had no branding. Fairly simple to put it together, but as a tip: when you snap it together, start from where the keyring hole is and slowly work your way up toward the base of the key. It was the only way I could get everything to line up properly.

Quick fix and similar look and feel to original
This is a great fix to the broken Honda key fob casing. It only takes a few minutes to do the repair. I feel that it will last at least as long as the life of the car and at least as long as the original (i.e., 8 years).

Don’t take it to the dealership, save loads of money with this product!
My 2008 Honda CRV key fob casing was cracked, worn out and the key became very loose. I searched for weeks and I found mostly key fob cases with blank key that you have to take to a dealership or locksmith to cut. Fortunately, I found this product. I just removed the litttle screw to open the old casing and transfer the fob and original key blade to the new casing. The fit is tight so be careful when snapping it close. I was not and and broke one of the plastic tab. It still closes when I tightened the screw. I wish I was a bit more careful but it was my first time doing this so mistake happens. I’ve included picture of my old casing and the original key blade in the new casing.

This is fantastic value for money
I had purchased the key replacement before and it didn't last long and cost me 20 bucks to have the key cut - this uses your existing key and remote and it is super strong and looks and feels exactly like the original key. I highly recommend this product for anyone with a Honda! Very satisfied!!
