Works great

I used the detector to help me locate old nails in my yard and garden. Most of the nails in the yard are deteriorated and camouflaged with the ground so its hard to find. The metal detector helped me locate the old nails and I used a magnet to pick up.

Easy to set up and use

This was shipped fairly quickly. It was easy to set up and use. Since I purchased this as a gift I can't use it TOO much before giving it...but I did try it out for reasons. :-) I think this is a great beginner metal detector. It works okay and I think my kids will be happy with it.

For the money there is nothing better.

Finally got to use today. Very solid detector that is great for beginners or experienced users. The pin pointer is very accurate along with the depth finder. Discrimination works well. I like that it has a volume control so you can use ear buds instead of detecting headphones. Can’t wait to hit the beaches this weekend.

Good product

Had fun with nieces digging up backyard looking for buried treasure. The product is easy to use, you can set different metal so you only find that variety of metal, comes with a carrying case and a colaspable mini digger. Product is not too heavy. I put down different metals to test it and its about 95% accurate. Overall happy with the product

Don't let the price fool ya!

I am new to using metal detectors, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money, when I wasn't sure that it is something I'll use. I read tons of reviews and finally decided on this model due to the price point and reviews on other sites. It feels heavy duty, but is light weight enough that I can hold it without fatigue. I have taken it into the parking lot behind my house and have found toe nail clippers, a claspy thing and a couple pins. I haven't hit any goldmines yet, lol. I cannot wait to see this thing in action at the beach! It comes with a tiny shovel that will help you dig up your treasures, and a carry bag to stow it away when not in use. This is a perfect starter metal detector, because now that i've seen what this one can do, I am really curious about the 400+ models!

It works great

Bought this for my husband. As a kid he used to search the beaches for treasures as a hobby. He has metal detectors worth thousands of dollars. I thought this might be a fun way to re live some of those memories without breaking the bank. I have to say, he was not disappointed! right away he set it up and went to the beach and found a bunch of change! He was very impressed with the quality and was so surprised when I told him the price. This metal detector is definitely a great value for its quality!

Great detector for kids and adults.

Been having a lot of fun with this. I had a basic one as a kid and this is a lot more advanced than that one. Has settings for various coins and also settings for gold rings. We tried it out with quarters and dimes and it did a great job of telling the difference. Comes with a very sturdy shovel that collapses to wear on your belt. This is very nice and quality shovel. Also comes with a carrying case. Can't wait to take it to the beach!

Smooth operating interface

The Pinpoint Function accurately locates items with patience and the depth is shown on the LCD display by simply pressing the P/P button. Finding items deep in the ground you just adjust the SENS and it gives you an accurate read. When I am looking for more specific items I am able to adjust to a mode that avoids detection of junk metal, giving me a better chance at finding more of what I'm looking for.

Works well and identifies hidden objects with accuracy

I don’t know the best way to try out a metal detector, so I started by throwing coins out into my backyard and then I used the detector to find them. The detector found them all and even properly identified all of them by their denomination. What’s more, as I was sweeping my yard, I found an old metal arrow buried underground. Cool! This was really easy to set up and use. The depth indicator seemed to be very accurate. A carrying bag and a collapsible trowel came with the set. I can’t wait to head out to find more treasures.

Very nice beginner detector.

This is a great beginner level detector. Easy to set up. Tested with some coins and went out in the yard and found a wheat penny right away. My son loves it. Can't wait til spring to hit some local parks to find treasure.
