I am currently renting an older house with an older ceiling fan/light. I ended up snapping the beaded pull chain to the light because the chain itself is so old and it was rubbing against metal. Initially, I purchased a DIFFERENT decorative pull chain. It was okay looking but I didn't care about that; I just needed the chain to be functional again. It worked well for about 1 to 2 pulls, but then it kept breaking off at the connector. The connector wasn't strong enough so it was prying open. I threw that piece of crap away. Then, I came across this set of beaded pull chains. It was a little more money than the single crappy one I purchased before, but it was a lot cheaper than other decorative pull chains, so I was a little skeptical. I opened the box and saw that it had 2 cute decorative pull chains, 2 additional chains, and an additional 4 connecters. TOTALLY worth the money. I didn't need to utilize the extra pieces, but I have them stored away for another project or if I somehow manage to break the chain again. It has been a little over 2 weeks of me pulling on the chain at least 4x a day and it hasn't detached or snapped even once. It even feels really sturdy so I pull it comfortably with no worries. I don't have to pull it all delicately like I did with the other oners. I didn't know that I would love decorative fan/light chains until I got this set. They are so freaking cute and functional (obviously). They give my room personality and I smile everytime I see them dangling from the ceiling. It's hard to see in the picture on Amazon due to the white background, but the lightbulb and the "light" on the fan are a frosty, translucent plastic (?). Little details like that make it so worth it. It doesn't look cheap like some of the other ones out there. I'M OBSESSED. Then again, I love miniature stuff. Anyway, I'll be taking these with me when I move. :)

SUPER CUTE! Never pull the wrong chain again!

Super, super cute and a life saver for me. I am always pulling the wrong string,this item leaves no room for confusion! When my light is on, the light bulb looks lit up. There is a nice weight to them so they don't clank together. The extra chain is perfect because I was able to cut it to the EXACT length I wanted. Now I can pull either chain from my bed. I am SOOOOO happy with this item. May buy them for every fan in the house.

So cute and functional!

These are so cute and very functional! The ceiling fan in my room is on a vaulted ceiling which made it impossible for me to turn the light off without also turning the fan off. The extension was long enough for me to be able to use the pull function. The little light bulb and fan are simply adorable! I would buy again just for that!

I bought this for ceiling fan for the bathroom at our house in Jamaica. The ceilings are 10' so the chain that came with the fan can't be reached without a ladder. The fan and bulb will make it easy to determine which chain to pull if you want the fan to run without the light or visa versa.

These are adorable!!! So simple but clever idea! First off the chains that are standard on ceiling fans aren’t short girl friendly....Then I’m always confused on “is the longer one the light or fan switch!?” Never get confused again with these....well made...comes with extra chain & connectors just Incase you have vaulted ceilings....

These fan pulls are awesome! I’m so glad I picked the ones with the extra extensions since my original chain is so tiny. I. Ow don’t have to guess which pill is for fan or light. They’re not only cute but look to be made of good quality materials. I’ll be getting more of these for each room of our house.

Finally some relief for the Vertically-Challenged!

I have been meaning to get something like this for ages, and I finally caved after I pulled a muscle in my back while trying to reach the four inch torture chain attached to my living room ceiling fan. Not only are the decorations classy, the chains are long enough for me right out of the box. In case they aren't, the company is nice enough to send you extra chains! I used one of the extra chains for the other light monster in my closet. No more strained muscles for me, no sir. They've worked perfectly. Would buy again or for a friend who is also vertically-challenged.

Really cute

The original chain pulls on my ceiling fan were a little short for me to reach. These are longer but not too long that my tall sons can’t walk under without hitting their head on them. And I have the added touch of being able to remember which one is for the light and which one is for the fan.

Never mix up the fan and light cords again!
