The best one I've ever seen

I've gone through a number of corkscrews with uniformly bad results. It seems, like most every tool, they've been cheapened to the point of lasting less than a year of use. But I have to say, Lestaven corkscrew is the best one I 've ever seen! It's Heavy-Duty. Not only does it look really nice, it works amazing! Many other corkscrews that I have used would either tear apart the cork, have a hard time screwing in to the cork, or would bend under pressure. After trying this corkscrew, I'll never have to deal with those problems again! Also, this corkscrew is weighted so it makes it even easier to slide it into the cork. This is especially good for keeping the oressure off of your wrists. No more struggling to get the screw into the cork! And as a bonus, it looks really nice and whiney, perfect for using at a party or even as gifts for wine lovers!

High Quality!

I rate the Lestaven corkscrew as 5 stars. We use it on a daily basis to open wine for dinner and parties. It is much more substantial than other corkscrews we have owned --- it's heavier with more solid construction. It seems easier to operate than others as well --- requires less force. In addition, the format allows me to see the screw as I place it to the cork so I can get a great middle location. I have had 3 perfect cork removals with no cracking/pieces. Highly recommended!

Good Wine Opener.

Nice! This is a good wine opener. I've purchased TWO from a store, BOTH broke after a short period of time. Can you imagine the disgust when half the cork is stuck in the darn bottle AND the wine opener falls apart. If you are buying the "cheap" ones from your favorite lower-priced store, I suggest you get real & upgrade. Very nice packaging too. Five stars.

Has made opening wine easier !

Love this so much! It's really well built and sturdy. This makes opening wine so easy, wish I had purchased this sooner! Have used it several times so far and works great every time. I feel it will last. I love their packaging and presentation also, it came in a nice black paper box. The corkscrew is great! I had to put my bottle laying flat and nothing has spilled out using their corkscrew. I have had some before that did not seal as well. I'm really happy I purchased this and would highly recommend it !

Does the job

it unscrews the cork without much effort. Compared to the throw away ones you buy at the grocery store or even the electronic ones (from what I read from reviews of such on this site), this one comes up tops. And it looks like it's going to last for a long time. Time will tell though; but so far so good.

Great!

In the past, I've spent more money on corkscrews than this one cost, but this is by far much more sturdy and easy to use. The last expensive one I bought only lasted 4 months before breaking. I was pleasantly surprised by the heaviness and durability of this one.

Very comfortable

Very easy to use! I never mess up opening a bottle now! It helps place the corkscrew in the proper position and it's easy to twist and release the cork. It is very heavy duty, the mechanism is smooth, and it is comfortable to use even for my mildly arthritic hand.This corkscrew is definitely a 5 star product.

Solid quality

We've all struggled with those cheap wine openers, I took pleasure in throwing our discount junk opener away after receiving our Lestaven opener.
