Works great and a good value

I have two dogs plus I run a pet food pantry so there I always have a lot of pet traffic. Keeping walkways and steps clear of ice is important but so is the safety of pets and my the surface of my walkways/steps. I have spent a great deal more for pet safe ice melt and not only have I been disappointed in the performance but lugging a big heavy bucket of ice melt around a store, into my car and then out again at my home was no fun. The Green Gobbler has worked extremely well and I love having it delivered! I will be buying more again soon.

Awesome 1st experience

By now we should have had ample occasions to use this product -- alas, there has been an extreme lack of snow!! I did get to use it a few weeks ago on an icy, snow packed back steps and it really does a great job! I also love not have salt crystals all over the house from boots and paws =) For me, the most important thing is that it is safe for the Sweet Pea and there has been no issues with her paws!!!

shipment arrived just fine

I was a little nervous ordering two pails of the ice melt, considering the weight and the mess involved if the buckets arrived cracked. The shipment arrived just fine and the product is as described. Normally, in KS, we would not have had to get into the bucket yet, but have already used it twice and all is good. We are good to go for this season. Kind of hope I don't have to order again until next year though!

Amazing product

Came right in Time for the snow storm. Very good snow melter and safe ice. My two dogs paws weren’t irritated after walking on this. Highly recommended it to all families especially ones with fur babies.

It works great and the dog doesn't mind

It works just like non-pet friendly salt, but hasn't killed my grass or caused my dog to limp when he walks on it while still doing a great job melting the ice. I live in Minnesota and am happy with this purchase. I'm buying more.

Well-packaged and effective

I know it sounds trivial, but for me the way ice melt is packaged makes a big difference, especially when I buy a large quantity. Bags are messy and difficult to store. Some containers aren't much better, requiring you to permanently puncture a hole in them or other such nonsense. Green Gobbler comes in a very nice tub, with a screw-top nozzle that extends out of the tub once opened. This allows the granules to be easily poured out with no mess. As for the product itself, the magnesium oxide works as well as regular salt. I noticed no decrease in strength at all. And since it isn't damaging to surfaces (or at least far less so), I felt comfortable putting it on my stamped concrete walkway. It's good stuff. Glad I made the purchase, and I will likely do so again.

This stuff works fast!

I have a wooden porch that is 3 feet off the ground. We woke up to a light dusting of snow and a very thin layer of ice one morning. I spinkled the porch and steps when I went out to warm up my truck. 30 minutes later when we left for work all the snow and ice was gone where I had spinkled green gobbler. It was very obvious where I had sprinkled it. The side of the porch not treated still had the snow and ice. When we got home the day the porch was still clear. Out of curiosity I sprinkled some more on our covered back deck,wood also, to see how fast it started melting the snow and ice there. It was only about 5 minutes and I started seeing obvious melting around the pellets. Very happy with the green gobbler.

Very Pleased Indeed - Stands up to Minnesota Weather

We had a sudden storm a few weeks ago, and as usual, I hand shoveled out an access to the street through snow up to my knees. The next day it was warmer and the City plows came by to make the street side nice and neat. As usual, it pushed warmer, wetter snow up against the end of my street access that froze like packed CEMENT. Happily, I didn't have to chip it out with a crow bar this time, this ice melt took care of it in about 20 minutes. Very happy indeed.

Pet Safe it really works!!!!

Recently my daughter moved back home and when she did she brought her 1 year old mixed husky dog with her!! This Green Gobbler Pet Safe ice melt did the trick!! It not only kept the dog's paws safe but it worked really good on melting the ice and snow!! We live in northern Indiana and get everything from snow, ice, freezing rain you name it!! But this Green Gobbler really worked well!! We will be ordering it again as soon as we get low! I bought the 25 Ib pail!! It works Great!!! Buy it you won't be disappointed!!
