A silicone sock should be stock!

I replaced the charred crust of cotton and tape was all that remained of the stock insulation on two of my Ender 3's. Flakes of the insulation had began dropping onto my prints and getting caught in the matrix. The hardest part of the installation was cleaning the heat block without damaging the thermresistor or heater module. I am happy with the results.

Exactly what I needed for CR-10S

Perfect fit! Exactly what I was needing. Been experimenting with some different cooling solutions and these are a great way of preventing cooling fans from cooling the heater block.

Fits perfect on the stock Ender 3

So much better than the factory cotton with tape solution. It really cleans up the hotend area and looks and fits great. It lasts real well to heavy high temperature use.

Easy Replacement

Super easy to install. Just cut off the cotton or whatever material is on the nozzle and throw this on. Easy peasy!

Easy to put on and off.

Very easy to put on or remove. They’re also reusable. They insulate the heater block after you remove the stock tape insulation.

Perfect fit, easy to clean

Fits perfectly once you re ove the tape and clean the filament blobs all under that nasty tape. Not sure why I need 3 of them but it’s nice to have spares. Slips right on and you can take it off to clean. Holds heat well and insulates much better than the factory tape

I jumped the gun here, and bought them. The new Ender 3's already have them installed. Still a nice piece.
