This product is amazing!!! Customer service is unbelievable. Don't ever hesitate to buy this product because if you have any problems with it, just get a hold of them and they will take care of you. Very fast shipping and most important it works and durable! Very well made and i highly recommend. I just wish it could fly much longer. I hope soon they will upgrade the battery for much longer play time. Over all its fun!!!

Super Durable First Drone

My 5yo son, who is incredibly hard on electronics (e.g., We bought a helium filled remote control flying shark that I spent half the night getting just right so it achieved neutral buoyancy. He killed it IN LESS THAN FIVE SECONDS!!!), wanted a drone to fly, just like Dad did. This little guy is nothing fancy. It doesn’t use a remote and is controlled by placing a hand to one side or another, so it flies around a little, circles in place, goes up and down, and flies a little more. This thing is like an old Timex watch: “It takes a licking and just keeps on ticking!” My son has teed off on this drone numerous times, but it keeps on flying, and he keeps on digging trying to take it out. Great durability, especially considering the price point. A decent first drone.

More fun than expected

We didn't expect much considering the reviews however this thing is surprisingly fun. It basically flies around and avoids crashing into things in most cases. You can use your hand to direct it away from certain directions - once it gets near your hand it will fly away from your hand. Battery isn't much but considering how small this is you shouldn't expect too much anyway. The plastic cage is a soft malleable plastic, not hard and brittle. I wouldn't use it outside unless you want to lose it.

Great fun (updated 4/419/2019)

Got two of these for my great grandson (3 years). He enjoys chasing them around but has crashed them multiple times. They take a beating (had to reinstall propellers several times). Longer battery life would be great but it is still good considering their size. 3/20, One of the drones developed a problem after submitting this review. The seller was very helpful in trying to correct the problem however it couldn't be corrected and the drone was promptly replaced. I couldn't ask for better customer service! 4/19/2019- So after a month of use the replacement drone is flying like new and is still source of enjoyment for my grandson. He likes chasing it around although sometimes we just and watch it fly around.

Fun and easy to control for casual play

It's a fairly intuitive little toy. So far, it's the most fun we've had with anything drone-like, since it doesn't run away, crash, and break propellers. Unfortunately, just as the battery was getting low after our first flight session, it found its way under our couch and got cat hair wrapped up in one of the rotors. I tried for 30 minutes to dig it out with a pocket knife and it still won't spin as freely as the other propellers. So, definitely keep away from hair of any kind! If we can't get it to fly right again, I'm probably just going to buy another one since I had as much fun as my son did in the 8 minutes we had with it...

my son loves it!

How awesome this is! Purchased for my son's 6th birthday. I know it says 14+ but reviews made me want to give it a shot. At 1st appearance I thought it appeared flimsy, however I put it to the test and was pleasantly surprised. It withstood some good collisions and my dog attacking it. While I recommend avoiding such incidents, it still works like a champ. Not sure who enjoyed it more, the kids or the adults Will be ordering more for the older grandkids

An amazing toy!

I was looking to buy a small gift for my nephew's birthday. So I chanced upon this on Amazon and decided to give this a try as I saw him drawing pictures of UFOs. He was delighted upon opening his birthday gift, and this works easily. It might need to be calibrated, but you just flip the switch on and give it a small hurl - and off it goes in the air! Its sensors are smart, in that it knows when to ascend or descend. Easy to operate and totally free from the hassles of needing a remote control. It does need to be recharged periodically though. Overall, I think this made my nephew really happy for his birthday!

So Much Fun!!!

Purchased this product for two children 4 and 6 years old. Charged them and tested them before we gave them as gifts. Could not stop laughing. It is surprising how quick they are, how responsive they are to your hands for directions and how much fun they are. They do run into walls sometimes and then crash to the ground but they are so light and well caged that it has not been a problem. Once we got the hang of it we were sending it back and forth between 4 people and smiling the whole time. Appears they work better indoors than outdoors because if there is a bit of a breeze you will end up chasing them.. which we did. Two more have been purchased for family college students for stress relief and it is working. They are truly enjoying the distraction. Thank you for such a fun product.

Great customer service.

This is an awesome toy! I bought it for my 5 year old son and him and his two sister have fun playing with it together (3 yo 7yo). The first one we got in the mail wouldn’t fly but I emailed the company and they responded back that night! I sent them a video of it malfunctioning and they sent me a new one within a few days. I am very pleased wit their customer service and the quality of this item. Only complaint is I wish it flew longer then 8 minutes.
