Great beginners instrument!

I bought thia as a christmas present for my 13 year old daughter...she hasnt put it down yet! Its sturdy, easy to use, and sounds exactly like the music from a music box! She also loves how compact it is...she carries it in her purse at all times! (Her purse is a cross-body type bag, so it fits!

Very Nice Sound

I purchased this as a gift for my Grand daughter and she absolutely loves it. It contains stickers to apply to the keys for her to learn the notes and she was able to play right away. It sounds like a cross between a old fashioned music box and a mini harp. Out of all the gifts she said this was the best present ever. I'm considering purchasing one for myself as well.

I bought this for my teen son because he loves to play music and learn different instruments. He enjoys this; it’s easy to learn and play. Good quality and comes with good, clear instructions and tuning tool. *Even our 5 year old likes playing with it because it makes a cool sound, but I think we’ll wait a few years to get him his own.

I wasn't even able to play the recorder in school, I couldn't get past Twinkle Twinkle, but here I am playing any song I want. It sounds great, works great, it seems like great quality. I love love love it.

I ordered several kalimbas (thumb pianos, mbiras, etc.) as Christmas presents for my family members. They love the sound of the Apelila 17 Key Kalimba. It sounds clear and rings well, so much so that even playing wrong notes sounds beautiful! Even my one-year-old great-nephew is mesmerized by its tone when my niece plays it for him!

Sounds incredible, especially for the money. Arrived in tune and with a nice little booklet with a few cool practicing exercises. As long as you have $20 to spare, get this!
