Great mount for the price!

I like this so much. It works perfectly with my mini iPad and my daughter 's iPad 3. It is a very secure mount so I don't worry about that slipping out. It's quite sturdy. Awesome for the price. Works and locks as expected.

REVIEW UPDATE: I now gave 5 stars for excellent customer service! They seen my review and they were unhappy that I was unhappy so they contacted me to fix the issue I was having and I’m happy they did! I got a new mount and they fixed my issue! I highly recommend going through this company! I have a iPad Pro 12.9 inch and this fits my iPad but when I have it on my tripod it’s just too flimsy! It doesn’t want to stay where I put it unless I use my tripod a certain way! I could of got something better! It’s not TERRIBLE but I wouldn’t buy again if I had a choice!

Great holder strong and firm

Before I owned my own Media Company, I worked for FOX, NBC TV and watched technology develop for the mobile journalist. They purchased iPhones and DJI gimbal for them. I’m saying all this to paint a picture..... I shoot primaily with my iPhone IPad Pro and iPad mini for sound. This clamp was JUST what I needed it’s firm and holds my iPad Pro firmly

Just received this today and was pleasantly surprised. I needed a mount for my iPad to mount it to a tripod for taking instructional videos. Quality was good and had no setup problems. Works great and is very stable.

Excellent mount for an iPad Mini 3 with case

We have an iPad Mini 3 with a Kavaj fitted leather case along with several full-size tripods in addition to this SLIK tabletop model. We regularly FaceTime with our grandsons and other family members and because of that it's nice to have the iPad elevated and correctly aimed - rather than positioned at a backwards angle on a tablet stand - so as to eliminate the customary keystone effect. The tripod allows for virtually any adjustment - up, down, left, right - as well as leveling for better viewing and more professional results. Our ball mount model tripod would allow for infinite adjustments if needed. The assembly of this mount was minor and very straightforward. The adjustable clamp is both a terrific idea and a bargain. I did not have to remove the Mini 3 from its snug, fitted leather case in that it would have been a bit of an effort. The mounts adjustable clamp is very accommodating in that regard. This tablet mount would be a real help to anyone with an iPad or tablet who enjoys photography or making videos.

Holds my ipad mini stable

The tripod mount holds my ipad mini 3 really well. Speaking from my experience using the mount. It is better if you have a case for your ipad or tablet. It will increase stability and prevent the scrashes from the mount.

Great for my IPad ...

My husband uses his IPad for his music (whether with Chordie or his Spire studio) and now with this attachment, he can use the tripod and make his iPad a bit more travel friendly when he plays his guitar. The unit is sturdy: it bounce a bit if you continually tap on the iPad (which is to be expected) but it holds the iPad securely. We're pleased with the item.

Worth the 14 bucks i paid and fits my 12.9 IPad Pro

I have purchased two of these and so far there have been no issues with them. They fit my 12.9 ipad pro mounted on the sides and the holder is big enough to go around the sturdy case i have on my ipad. There is sufficient friction when the nut is tightened on the balljoint that allows rotation to keep the ipad from drooping under the weight of the ipad+case. My only concern is a possible plastic fatigue on the balljoint that connects the tripod mount and the ipad holder. If I could make one upgrade to the design I would make the balljoint and socket out of metal. However as of this review I haven’t experienced any issues with durability.

work as described

I really like this mounting divide. Very sturdy. I bought it for my sister. In addition to able to mount her ipad to the tripod, she love to use it to standup her ipad when she watch move from her bed as well ... size was adjustable as well. I will get once for myself!
