For Better Or For Sponge

I bought these after an argument with my husband about sponges. #marriedlife He loves to use a sponge and I think they are a breeding ground for germs. After I saw him wipe our dinner table with the same sponge that had been used to clean dishes for a week I threw all of our sponges away. The next night he became upset that there was "nothing to scrub the dishes with. I passive aggressively bought this crap ton of sponges. They do work well, and are a great price for how many you get. And even though I purchased these just to be a smart a** we now live in a cohesive sponge relationship.

Great kitchen sponges at a great price

Great price for a quality sponge. I used to buy similar foam/scrub sponges at the dollar stores, but due to Covid concerns needed to order them online. Its hard to find these types of sponges for delivery, and right now there are a lot of quality concerns with Amazon items. I was hesitant to order such a large batch, but took the chance based on the photos and reviews. I'm so glad I did! These are great and substantial. You can really grab onto them when scrubbing and yet they are super flexible to get into tight spots. Foam sponges won't work well on graters, but other than that, I've found them durable. They dry very fast, which means less odor and bacteria. They foam up really well, so a small amount of dish soap lasts longer. The scrubbing surface is thicker than the others I've used, but still gentle enough for most surfaces. I don't microwave, boil or throw kitchen sponges into the dishwasher based on studies stating that doing so actually multiplies the really bad bacteria. So following the recommendations, I toss the sponge after a week. This means I go through a lot of sponges. I tried other types over the past two months, and missed my foam sponges. Now that I've ordered these and have seen they're legit, I'll be a repeat customer!

High quality closed-cell sponges at a good price, with more durable abrasive than most

Big plus for my particular application: They stand up very well to muriatic acid, unlike 3m ScotchBrite (r) sponges which is what I used to buy. So if you have very hard water, like me, and frequently use muriatic to clean scale off of porcelain and metal surfaces, you'll probably like these. Neither the sponge portion (yellow) or the abrasive green degraded significantly in the muriatic. In comparison, the abrasive side of 3m Scotch Brite (r) sponges completely disintegrates, even after short exposure. (At least, at the concentrations I use.) Be aware though that the sponge material is closed-cell, not open-cell cellulose like the ScotchBrite ones. So the sponge side is really not very good at mopping moisture from surfaces like tabletops, whereas open-cell sponges do better for that, because you can squeeze them out first, and then the moisture absorbs into them as they expand. But imo, these are much better for washing dishes. And the abrasive side is robust too, tougher than the ScotchBrite, imo. All in all, very good product, will buy again. Just not for cleaning tabletops.

Love these things!

I LOVE these things. They are super sturdy, absorbent and do not begin to smell like normal sponges. I use these to clean the house and do the dishes. This is a super good deal for good product. A word of warning. I didn't read well enough and expected these to be normal sponges but they are not. They are a scrubber attached to some kind of heavy duty, but soft foam.

Honestly I was expecting just some cheap sponges for this price but to my surprise, they are actually good quality! So much better than the little cheap ones I get from the grocery store. And I'm pretty sure this came with enough to last me the whole year!

BEST DISH washing sponges EVER.

I like these so much better than other brand name sponges, they work really well on dishes!! I dont use sponges to clean counters or other things because I dont think that is very sanitary. I use disinfect sprays and washable rag, so my review is based soley on how awesome they are for dishes! They seem to hold more soap for longer and bend easier. They arent so stiff like other sponges that cant get into rounded places in cups etc.,

very durable

These things will last awhile before you have to toss them. Wash them in the dishwasher to keep clean or soak in a little bleach water. They are abrasive, but not bad. They absorb water very well. I use them for dishes, the kitchen counters, the stovetop, etc. I use them to wash walls. I also cut one in half and use the half to clean my cast iron skillets (with no soap).

Totally worth it.

I’ve been buying these for months now. Super great price and they hold up SO well. I prefer them over name brands. They are strong and thick so they last a while! Would recommend.

Does what a sponge needs to do

Look. You are buying sponges. These do exactly what you expect them to do. Used on glassware/plastic/non-stick and glass pans with burned on food. They work great. Keep in mind, the harder you scrub the faster the green scrub part wears down. If you pre-soak like me these things are awesome. Have not noticed them emitting that old sponge smell as of yet. I use Dawn and hot water. Most inexpensive sponges out there if you want to buy in bulk to have around.

Awesome Sponges!

I was skeptical about these sponges because they are so inexpensive. It didn't take very long for me to change my mind once I started using them. They are awesome and work just as well as the other brands from the store, maybe even better. :) I will be buying more of these in the future.
