Worth it's weight in gold!

This toolkit has been a saving grace! I've repaired my laptop, my cell phone camera, my point and shoot camera, the remote for the car, and omre recently helped me change the batteries on my calculator! One of the screwdrivers in the set was defective, I contacted the company and they sent me out another one, no questions asked. This thing has more than paid for itself many many times over. Best purchase ever!

Great Kit for this Price! 0.8 Driver Doesn't Fit as it should. It's really 0.9 but you can make it work.

This is an amazing kit for the price. To put this into perspective I usually spend this much on a good pair of stainless tweezers, and a set of 9 quality precision drivers from a German company like Wiha will cost you $30, so it's not fair to compare these drivers to a set with hardened steel tips. The 0.8 torx driver doesn't fit well in iPhone 6s. It's closer to an 0.9 torx than 0.8 but you can make it work. Others reviewers have had the same issue, so it's not just me. The magnetization isn't super strong as another reviewer pointed out. Any magnetized driver will lose its strength over time sitting in Amazon's warehouse. For $5 you can buy a little tool that will re-magnetize and even un-magnetize all your drivers in about 5 seconds. Or you can take a magnet off the refrigerator and do it for free. The metal pry tools are really nice. I had zero problems pulling off multiple screens and they still look like new. They see very durable. I don't think you're going to find a better set in the $12 price range. If you plan on using these day in and day out as a professional phone repair tech, it's a nice starter set, but probably won't last long. For a hobbyist this set could last a lifetime if you're gentle with it.

Well made, with many uses --

This durable toolkit is handy for many electronics that require special tools for repair or battery-changing. The assortment includes just about every mini prying tool and driver imaginable. It also comes with 2 pairs of long tweezers, one having an angled tip for easy under-circuit-board access. The tools are well-designed, with a firm cushion grip on the drivers. Materials are heavy plastic on some and plastic and metal on others - and not the cheap metal that bends or strips under pressure. The plunger tool is quite useful in changing newer phone batteries, where the cases are adhesive-sealed. Every tool is marked and neatly stored in the included cloth rollup case, for easy access and loss prevention. Description details for each tool are also included. An all-around great purchase!

Great value!

I bought this kit to repair my daughter's iPhone 6s after spilled coffee got into the charging port. Fortunately the phone electronics were not damaged but the charging port did not work anymore. These tools gave me everything I needed to take apart and repair the charging port on the phone. The screwdrivers are magnetic so it really helped with the small parts and with the videos available online it was not that long before the phone was back in action! For the price of this kit you can't go wrong!

Great kit, well made and worth every penny!

As the resident "can you fix my phone, I dropped it and broke the screen for the third time" guy in our family, I've owned several similar kits to this one. The other ones are what I would term "disposable" due to the poor quality of the plastics and particularly the poor quality of the steel used to make the driver heads. This is the first kit that I've taken the time to review, because it's actually worth the money I spent and then some. It's a fairly complete kit and will allow you to do basic repairs on cell phones, tablets etc. The materials used to make the screwdrivers is good quality, and so far I haven't had a single tool fail or not perform as it should. This kit plus YouTube videos is basically all you need to replace that next broken tablet screen, or that iPhone battery that seems to fail around the same time as a new generation of iPhones hit the market.

Well worth the small investment.

I had recently bought a kit to replace the screen on an iPhone 6 and it came with tools, but those tools were not adequate to remove some of little tiny screws. Then I bought a kit to replace the battery in an older model iphone, and the tools in that kit were not any better. At the same time, I ordered this tool kit, and it is much better quality than what came with those other kits. For one thing, the various screwdrivers in this kit are labeled as to size and type. The tweezers are perfect for dealing with some of the little connections. Even if your replacement kit comes with some kind of tools, these are much better! Well worth the small investment.

I'm glad I already had an electronics screwdriver too

I've used this multiple times to fix an old iPhone after soda spillage. The parts are cheap plastic but they get the job done. I'm glad I already had an electronics screwdriver too, as I feel like this kit plus the good electronics screwdriver make for a pretty good kit for handling other problems too. For instance, I've used some of these tools for dismantling old cassette tapes for recycling (For cassettes, I use the tape as ribbons for gifts and the plastic parts can be recycled). I was a little worried that the suction cup might not be good enough to get the smartphone screen off but it did okay. I would recommend this if you're looking for a cheap DIY solution to fixing phone damage.

The tools aren't the greatest, but they did provide me everything I needed to replace the screen on my motorola phone. You're certainly not buying high end screwdrivers like Wiha. But a single one of those good German tools costs the same as this whole set. The tools roll works well for keeping them all organized. Overall an excellent product for the price. I saved a ton of money using this set to replace my phone screen over sending it somewhere for repair.

Nice toolkit for phones

Nice toolkit. Just used a couple of the tools to repair a Sony phone. My only complaint is that a couple of the metal pieces that were stamp cut have rough edges. Nothing five minutes with some fine sandpaper couldn't fix.

This is a great little set!

This is a great little set! I just replaced the hard drive and memory in a laptop, and it had all the tools I needed. I especially like the facts that the screwdriver tips are magnetized, which helps control the tiny screws inside a laptop, and that the end of the screwdriver handle spins so that you can hold it stable against your palm while using your fingers to turn the shaft. I did manage to let one screw slip but was able to retrieve it easily with the tweezers. A+!
