Birds and squirrels love it

My six year old granddaughter got up before everyone else and pulled the kids’ bench in the sunroom where she could watch and identify the birds. The birds come and it is so nice to watch them. We have cardinals, chickadees, pine warblers, doves, wrens, and many other birds. The squirrels climb the side of my house and get on the window frame and jump onto the feeder so it is not squirrel proof but so far I haven’t found a feeder that is squirrel proof. At least the squirrels have to make several attempts before they land on this one. Stays up great even when the squirrels jump on the roof and drop down on top of it.

Great entertainment!

Easy to put up, and looks easy to fill and clean. Just put it up yesterday and birds have not discovered it yet. However, some squirrels have and are loving it. Two had a fight inside it, much to the fascination of my csts. I bought it for feline entertainment while the cats lie on the back of the sofa at the window and it is filling that requirement!! It's entertaining me too!

Really wonderful! Easy to put up, and birds love it

This was so easy to put up, and while I thought it would take a while for birds to find it, they showed up the next day. I work facing this window, and sit not even 3 feet away, but the birds aren't worried! In just a few days I've had chickadees, titmouse, and even a red-bellied woodpecker (he left before I could get a photo). And because it basically is the only perch on that side of the building, the squirrels can't get to it! I absolutely love this looking up from my computer screen to see birdies eating and looking back at me.

This window feeder is a clear winner! It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The strong suction cups support it very well. We attached it easily to a kitchen window. I have no doubt my grandkids and I will love watching the birds this summer!

Kitty Cat Favorite!

Bought three different suction cup feeders and love them all. They seem to hold on the window very well and we enjoy watching the birds in the winter. Don’t like the fact that the tray doesn’t slide out for filling but do like the bigger size of this feeder. I missed that fact in the description so I can only blame myself. I do like that the birds perch on top to eat and we get to see a little more action on this one.

Birds came within the first hour I hung it up!

I'm hanging out in my bed a lot more than usual since I'm recovering from a surgery and boredom was setting in- I saw this and thought I would give it a try. Birds started showing up within the first hour it was hanging! I was a bit worried it wouldn't stick since we live in a cold climate. We made sure the window was very clean and rinsed the suction cups with very warm (almost hot) water until they were pliable, leaving just the moisture that was left clinging to them and it worked like a charm. Squirrels are able to get within jumping distance, but we just set up a little platform feeder for them below it so they wouldn't have a reason to try and it's been really effective so far. The construction is really nice, too, since the feeding tray has a little insert with "boosters" at the bottom of it and proper ventilation- so if rain or snow gets inside it can drain to down below the seed- and the very bottom (that holds the insert) has drainage holes, too, creating some space for air to come in and dry out any moisture that's left. I'm really pleased with this purchase, and the bonus is that it's not the most expensive thing like this out there- but I don't know how it could be nicer. This one is perfect!

Seems sturdy, already attracted someone's attention

So, we might have a hard time keeping the "scrats" as my 3 kids call them out of this thing, so far their acrobatic attempts to reach the seeds have made my boys laugh and laugh, and they enjoy suggesting new places on the window to try to "outsmart" the little tree rats. (Now we live on an acre with probably 50 squirrels so honestly one of them will constantly be trying to get in this thing but it hasn't been knocked down yet, and they've thunked it pretty darn hard so far!) I'm hoping we'll get some birds and we have a glass door on the back of the house that I could.always move it too, they definitely seem to scale the brick, hang onto the window edges and steal the seeds. For 10 bucks it's worth it to watch the kids laugh

Very nice product. The cat and I both get lots of enjoyment watching the birds. It has been heavily used by the chickadees and others from 5 minutes after mounting. It is nice because it allows me to mount it where the squirrels cannot get to it. Two of my friends have seen it and I got two more for them. Since the birds actually open the seeds by pecking the seed against the feeder, it makes a loud tapping noise that you can correct by placing a small soft buffer between bottom of unit and the glass. You can also get some wonderful close-up pictures of birds. I love it !!
