I *very* rarely give 5-star reviews, so if anything goes downhill I will likely come back and edit this, but honestly, so far I am LOVING this beverage fridge! Here's what's gone on: This fridge was delivered and sat on my porch for a couple days because I didn't think I'd be able to wrestle it into my house on my own. (I guess I should be thankful that the UPS person had a dolly and at least got it up the three steps onto my porch). I finally gave in and cut the outer box away and used the plastic straps wrapped around the inner box to drag it over the threshold, through my entryway, and into my dining room. It is VERY heavy - I only had to move it about 25-30 feet, and I doubt I would have been able to get it much farther than that. (Your girl is strong, but it would definitely be a better idea to move this fridge around with at least two people.) I then cut the inner box away, but this time two people WERE necessary to get the cardboard tray out from under the fridge. Thankfully I was able to lift it all on my own while my friend slid the tray out from under it (it was a quick job, I wouldn't have been able to hold the thing even those couple inches off the floor for more than the 10 seconds it took). The fridge is supposed to sit upright for 2 hours before you plug it in. Though it had actually sat upright for a day and a half before I even got it into my house, I decided to follow these instructions to the letter. The next thing is to install the handle (the work of a minute or two at most) and wipe down the inside with a warm, wet, soft cloth. I then plugged it in and was honestly VERY pleasantly surprised at how fast it cooled down! (Seriously, it met the suggested temps in like...10 minutes. Maybe 20 at most.) The fridge does make a bit of noise when it's truly RUNNING, but it only does so for short spurts of time maybe once every hour or two; outside of those short periods, it's basically silent. Honestly, I'm just really pleased with this addition to my home! *Edited to add: As a note, the Beer Advocate website suggests the following temps for storing beers - "There are 3 storage temperatures used to lay beer down for maturation and/or storage. Not only will you want store your beers at these specific temperatures, but also you'll want to serve them at the same. Your strong beers (like barleywines, tripels, dark ales) will be their happiest at room temperature (55-60F), most of your standard ales (like bitters, IPAs, dobbelbocks, lambics, stouts, etc) will be at cellar temperature (50-55F) and your lighter beers (like lagers, pilsners, wheat beers, milds, etc) will be at a refrigerated temperature (45-50F). Usually the higher alcohol, the higher temperature and lower alcohol, the lower temperature ..." As for wine, 55 is the best temperature and 65 is the highest you should go. I have a variety of beers in this fridge so I'm keeping the temp at 47 for now, with the wine area set at 60, and those temps seem to be working.

We never use our dishwasher. However we do entertain and thought a mini fridge would work. This mini fridge is perfect. Just made the kitchen pop and is very quiet......perfect look, quality, and very nice looking.

This beverage fridge is working out quite well for us. I do like the smaller size, but sometimes wish it was a little higher up off the ground since it sits so low. You have to crouch down to get your drinks or fill the fridge. The dual zones is perfect for us because my husband can have his fancy IPAs and DIPAs at the right temp and I can have my wine or champagnes how I want them as well. You do not hear any noise from it at all. Once in a great while I'll hear the fan run but that's only if no one else is home and theres no noise like TVs etc whatsoever and even then it's such a soft quiet sound. Its lightweight but feels sturdy and durable. I am not worried about the quality. It seems fine in that regard. I have moved it around the house numerous times, easily, by myself, trying to figure out exactly where I wanted it. The nice thing about the size is that it can easily be built in or lined up with your counter/cabinets. It would fit in like a dishwasher would, in regards to size and space. When I push it up against my stove, it is the same depth, minus the oven door. The oven door is the only thing that sticks out further than this fridge. Otherwise it is the same size. You're able to keep the lights on or off and I must say it looks cool with them all on, on the inside. It also provides a nice nightlight then, too, for the room. You can choose to just have the controls lit as well and they also light up blue. I live in a very old house with mostly very old wiring/not enough dedicated breakers, and it hasn't tripped a breaker either, so that's also a huge plus for us. You can lock the door on the fridge with a key, although I think if someone was truly robbing you and wanted it open, they could bust it open. But for typical home use and keeping the kids out etc.,it is plenty sufficient. You can also switch the door to open from either side. After a few months use now we are happy with it, but I will update if we run into any issues. At this point it seems like a sound and solid unit. Super quiet, very sleek looking, and it does what it is supposed to.

We really found this to be one of the best items we have seen in quite awhile. You can store wine bottles conveniently on two shelves. The temperature control lets you set them at the best temperature for them. There are two different controls for the temperatures in the beverage cooler and refrigerator. The 2nd control allows you to set your beer, sodas, or other items at the most optimum temperature for them. Very easy to set with the up and down buttons. We found that the lights inside are very appealing in color and enhance the appearance when they are on. Moisture control is one thing that is important for wine so that the corks stay properly set all the time. There is a moisture cup which allows you to add moisture to the air inside. When you get this item you will find that it is extremely well packed and is shipped with the consumer in mind for getting the unit in great shape. We were able to unpack easily, move it to where we wanted after taking the cardboard and Styrofoam packing materials away. Setting up was easy with the adjustable legs underneath just like any other refrigerator you have become used to. We used a level on it so that we could take readings both from the sides and back to make sure all was squared up. There is an extra shelf which is great for some of the half size items which are becoming more popular. This is a stainless steel unit with a black top and sides so that all of the stainless is shown on the very attractive front panel which is glass. We read that you should not place this unit where it can receive direct sunshine since that will affect the finish of the painted top and sides. We placed this on our patio and felt that to protect the finish we would put a covering which drapes down from the top to the sides. This does not detract from the overall beauty of this item!

A warning- this thing is *ridiculously* heavy. It came via UPS and the poor guy didn't have a hand-truck/dolly to get this thing inside my house, so we had to settle for near my garage door until my husband got home. It finally made it inside our house with the help of a teenage son, too. Once in, it assembled easily except it was missing the screws for the door handle *and* the lock won't line up with the door to actually function. Having teenage boys, we were really looking forward to that function. It still might be something we can fix with some dabbling around. Normally, that would mean this is a 4 star review, but I *love* this thing. Dual temperatures means white wine and beer can go on top with the colder temperature. The bottom part doesn't go quite as cold and I wasn't able to turn it below 50 degrees, so we think it may be better for the red wine (which I didn't even know should be chilled in a home of typical room temperature). It fits plenty and is rather large. The lighting is fun and provides ambience. We are certainly happy.

We have really enjoyed our wine/beverage refrigerator. Did lots of research. This is a great value. We didn't want to buy high-end, but this looks much higher end than the price.

This NewAir refrigerator has been an amazing addition to our kitchen. We initially had a wine fridge inside and then a beer fridge out on our deck. This combo item has allowed us to consolidate the two items into one sleek appliance. What I love: Just the fact that this refrigerator is dual-purpose makes it a favorite of mine. I love that there is dual temperature control so you can store your beer at a lower temperature than your wine. It's incredibly spacious and the top allows or multiple configurations allowing you to store cans or bottles, or in our case - cans, bottles, and a fifth of our favorite whiskey. The wine racks on the bottom pull out smoothly. I can even fit what I call "double bottles" of wine (the big bottles from Costco) on the bottom rack with no problem. The light features are awesome - we have ours set to constantly emit a blue light which doubles as a nice soft kitchen night light. The controls are digital so they look really modern and can be read in the dark as well. The locking feature is also a nice addition and may come in handy once our children get a little older. Least favorite feature: I do wish that both temperature ranges would go just a little bit lower. The low end for the top shelf is 36 degrees and the low end for the bottom half is 50 degrees. Those are still acceptable temperatures but we love our beer just above freezing and I like my wine a little cooler than most people. This refrigerator is pretty large, so check the specs before you buy it. It would look amazing as a built-in, but we just have ours as a free-standing item in our kitchen and it's still a nice looking unit. We couldn't be much happier with it - I hope it lasts us for a very long time.

Quiet looks awesome. Blue light sets it off. Pricey but the wife had to have wine in my beer fridge.

This wine fridge is great. I keep wine on the bottom shelves, and sparkling water and beer on the top shelves. There are two minor things I don’t like. First, the shelves do not adjust enough to allow for slightly taller cans on the top section, you have to remove a piece and put taller stuff in front and shorter stuff behind which doesn’t make much sense. Second, the wine shelves in the bottom section are not spaced properly to allow bottles to rest side by side, so you have to skip a spot to put the next bottle. I truly doubt it will fit 22 bottles as advertised. The good news is that is chills everything the way I want it to, and it is very quiet. I only barely hear it occasionally after I’ve opened the door and it is working to cool back down.

This cooler/refrigerator is wonderful. Top notch design, well thought out. In addition to cooling drinks, we use the top zone for yogurt and other small items that were clogging the big fridge. Besides doing an excellent job at keeping the wine temps perfect, the lower zone also works for assorted cheeses, etc. Inside is roomier than you'd think, and the slide in and out shelving is needed as the shelves are fairly close, so no having to move things around to access what you want. The inside temperature zones are easy to set and each maintains its selected temperature consistently. It is equipped with blue inside lights- bright enough to see but subtle enough to maintain a low light mood. We had some difficulty switching the door opening side as it is very heavy, but once done, it is fine. This mini-fridge is brilliantly designed, easy to use, and perfect for entertaining. Kudos to NewAir on this. We'd give it ten stars if we could.
