Our green cheek conure loves this dish. It attaches to the cage very easily, he stands on the side of the bowl and eats grapes and bell peppers from it. The bowl raises out of the holder very easily to clean and add more food. Highly recommend!

Works for our chinchilla

After almost four years, our chinchilla decided her plastic food dish was now a tasty snack, and started chewing on the edges. So we decided to get this metal dish. It's almost exactly the same size as her old dish, and she started eating out of it immediately. Also, the screw hasn't loosened at all over the course of two weeks, and it's stayed in place on the side of her cage. (Though I wish the wing nut was a little larger for easier tightening the first time.) Very happy with this item.

Worth it.

I disliked nothing. Use it for my chinchilla. A little big because I couldnt find any smaller so his food just covers the bottom but he doesnt mind.
