Reliable

Just what I was looking for. Other sensors I’ve had are triggered by the slightest things or not at all. This one is very reliable in that depends on two units with lasers that are aligned with one another and doesn’t go off unless they’re penetrated. I have a very long driveway and it works fine with the base unit. Nice selection of sounds. Volume is loud by default but can be adjusted. We bought real estate poles that comes with the stakes that you put in the ground and mounted them on those since we don’t have fence posts. My only complaint is the design. They’re big and wholes to mount them are on the side. Doesn’t leave much room for flexibility, not aesthetically pleasing. Great product overall and holds a solar charge well.

Great range and accuracy, very impressed

I just bought a house with a LONG drieway. I would say the sensors are roughly 200+ yards from the base and this is through thick woods and a creek! The system came quickly and was fairly easy to set up, you could probably do it all yourself but I found it helpful to have someone help me with the sensor alignment. Setting up the base unit is simple and the controls are very basic. I tend to be very critical of electronics, even consider myself an expert of sorts, but I must say months later I am still extremely impressed by this product. Very few false alarms and I don't think it has missed a single vehicle. It has been active off nothing but solar power through winter and at 0°F temperatures. It has a lot of different alert sounds and it is fairly loud so you can hear it from other rooms; I guess to be perfect I would want it to have connectivity and play custom alerts but at this price I don't care. It played a Christmas jingle when I had people coming in and out for my Christmas party! Hit!

Impressive design. Best on the market.

This arrived quickly, well-packaged and with an extra motion detector (a free gift) for indoor use. Our front porch is covered from rain, so the indoor motion sensor is going there. The whole mechanism seems impressively well-designed. There's a lot of thought that has been put into engineering it, from the eye-hole that helps you align the two beam sensors, to the fact that all sensors are compatible with the same receiver. This appears to be a small company, but the quality of engineering going into their products is really amazing. I am happy with both the beam sensors and the receiver--but I will check back in a few months to update my review; my one worry is that the older models from this company seem (from their reviews) to fail after a year. This unit is brand new so I cannot yet comment on whether it will last. I hope it will! The only other side-note is that I would like to see a volume control on the receiver, and it would be fabulous to have a timed 'mute' function. It would be even better to have a programmable mute function, that would allow you to silence just one sensor for a specific time period every day. For example, I'd like to have the front porch motion-sensor only trigger an audible alarm at night, but I'd like the driveway break-beam sensors to be on at all times. Maybe that feature could be added to receivers in future models; I would certainly buy that upgrade.
