My wife has leg and knee pain and needed some assistance so I researched different types of devices. I discounted the types that attached to the toilet since I was worried that too much pressure could dislodge the toilet and result in a plumbing repair. It took me less than 10 minutes to assemble this product using the bolts with attached handles. This product is very sturdy and works as advertised. Definitely worth the purchase. This is the second device we ordered for another bathroom.

Works great, would buy it again... I use it for traveling, it does take up a little more room in the suitcase but without it couldn't get off the toilet...It is small you need to sit on it dead center, I am 5'9" and weigh 195 lbs. I have no idea why I can't find one that has a bigger hole but this one fits both standard and elongated bowls and I have used it in Europe and the far east.

Easy installation and removal for the non-patient. 4 quick rotations of the screw handle in the front and the seat is removed. 4 turns in the opposite direction and the seat is secured for the patient. My wife really likes it. Easy to mount and easy to dismount to and from her walker or wheelchair.

I looked at many models on Amazon before selecting this one. I chose it for the ease of installation and removal, as that will help with cleaning. It is the perfect height for a 5'8" tall person, and a 17" height toilet. I'm 200#, and the handles are placed perfectly in width and height. My tub is just a couple inches away from the toilet, so the handle doubles as a grab arm when getting in and out of tub. I was happy I didn't have to buy that separate gizmo, as I'm Gimp-Gizmo-Broke now! I am having decompressive laminectony and L4-L5 fusion in a couple weeks, but have needed all the new gizmos early since my sciatica/piriformis syndrome is exacerbated by toileting. I use a simple condiment-type clear squirt bottle, filled with a water-bleach solution (1:10) to rinse the inner "bowl" section after each go to keep everything as clean as possible. It's easier to aim with the squirt bottle, as a spray-bottle could leave overspray on the top of the seat.

This is not as sturdy as I expected it to be. The back was supposed to fit under the lip of the toilet bowl so that you could screw it tight in the front. However, the back is about 2 inches short from reaching the lip of the toilet bowl (despite the fact that my toilet bowl is round and not elongated), so when you attempt to screw it tight in the front, the back of the seat lifts up. Therefore, I can't tighten it and can only have it sitting on top of the bowl. As a result, it is a bit more wobbily than I would like it to be. I think it will work, but I will have to be careful when sitting on it and then standing up. As an addendum to this review, I spoke with customer service, and they were wonderful to deal with. They refunded my purchase price without my having to return the product. You can't ask for more than that. I am very pleased and highly recommend this Seller.

I am a 76 year old lady. I weigh about 180 and am about 5'6". It was extremely easy to assemble and is totally perfect for me. Use it in stall shower to sit while shaving legs and around the house as a stool. May purchase another. It is very light and easy to drag where ever it's needed

I tried a couple different options to make it easier to get up and down with my bad hip joint. This has been the best by far. It is not in the way for other users in my home and creates a nice set of handles so I can use my arms to lift up and sit down. Went together easily, though I did have to use some pliers to tighten the wing nuts, and the magazine holder is a nice touch. The delivery was quick and the price was fair. Great product!

Great toilet seat, easy and fast to install, watch when you sit down however because if your a man and you don't point your penis straight down urine will shoot out under the seat onto the floor....The moral of the story is hole your wiener steady!

Works great for my husband who has lower body weakness to assist him to getting to a standing position. He is a big man and it holds him up without a problem. We have one by the toilet and by his chair in the living room. Both are a big help in transferring him.

Works so well we bought two. Fits perfectly on American Standard elliptical toilets. Secure and stable. Easy to install and clean. Can be removed without hassle.
