Basic mask that leaves skin smooth

Various family members with different skin issues ranging from adolescent/oily to dry have tried this mask. We all appreciate the fact that it's got a simple, fragrance-free formula. Benefits: * Applies easily. * Washes off easily (no lingering chunks of mask clinging to facial crevices) * Leaves skin feeling soft I do not find this mask particularly moisturizing, but overall it makes my face feel refreshed and ready for moisturizer. This isn't an "oh wow, amazing!" mask, but I'm not sure I've ever had a mask that I loved, other than those applied as part of spa facials which cost a lot more and are way less convenient. To me, this is a 4-star product, but everyone else thought it was a 5-star mask, and so it shall be.

Very Nice mask

This mask is not too thick and does not dry out or crack like other charcoal masks I have tried in the past. The mask has a very nice consistency, spreads nicely over my skin and feels very comfortable. My skin looks more clear and smoother after removing with a washcloth. I will buy this again.

Amazing Mask that Gets the Job Done!

I love this mask!!!! It’s the only charcoal mask I have found that does not suck the life out of your skin. It has a nice gel-like consistency. The other charcoal masks I’ve used feels like you’re applying clay to your face. This feels like a luxurious moisturizing cream that also detoxifies your pores. When I rinsed it off gently, I did not feel stripped of oils. I just felt like my pores were clean with a healthy amount of moisture! Also amazing price for what you get compared to other brands. I recently bought a smaller tube of charcoal mask for $65+ and I’m now hating myself!

Feels great afterward

I've used charcoal in a lot of beauty products and it really can help cleanse. I love this mask - it's relaxing to apply the smooth cream and sit back to let it set. Showering it off can be tricky, just use washcloths that are ok to blacken if you're worried about that. I use white washcloths and this washes out fine, so it doesn't bother me at all. My skin always looks polished and refreshed, and even the pores on my nose are improved.

This Belei Charcoal Balancing Mask minimizes pores but doesn't leave skin feeling tight. This is a fairly creamy, grey, mask that goes on easily with no tugging or pulling. The directions say to apply a thin layer to clean skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes before washing away. The mask does not dry hard like a clay mask - it just tightens up (and turns a darker color) a bit as it dries. Because the charcoal sinks into your pores as it dries, I needed my facial scrubber to remove all traces of the mask. I washed my face, applied the mask, and then took my shower after it dried so I could remove the mask in the shower because I didn't want the charcoal mess at the sink and this worked very well. Because this mask contains hyaluronic acid (one of my favorite skin care products), it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth rather than tight and dry, like clay masks. But it does seem to minimize pores and my skin feels clean. The price is great! You don't need a huge amount of product so used weekly, I think this jar should last a couple of months.

Very nice for the price!

I took a chance on this charcoal mask with Belei being a new brand and Amazon’s own house brand and I’m pleasantly surprised! It seems to perform quite well and just as good as other masks I’ve tried costing double. It leaves my oily skin feeling clean yet without leaving it overly dry. Nice packaging too, and I like the fact that it is not tested on animals and also mixed together in the USA. This product is very slightly scented but not overly so which is something that I appreciate.
