A must for the Arlo system

I've owned the Arlo Security Camera system for almost 2 years. I have 6 cameras, a door bell and door chime on the system. I can't say enough good about the product. For the money and quality of the product, it's at the top. I recently purchased the Arlo Door Bell. I learned the hard way that it's not compatible with most (if not all) standard, existing door chimes. Then, through some additional research, I found that Arlo also produced this Door Chime. It couldn't have been more easier. Plug it in to a wall outlet, sync it up to the Arlo Base Station, pair it up with the Arlo Door Bell and BAM! You have a door chime. The only slight down side is that it could be a bit louder but it is loud enough for anyone on the first level of the house to hear it. Plus the Door Bell records a message or you can talk through it from you phone or tablet. It doesn't get any better than that. For a wireless camera system, in my opinion, as an Electrical Engineer, it is a great system.

Great Addition

Another gift for family. But this unit is working great added to this current camera system. While RV'ing around the country able to be notified of movement at the front door. An easy install, set up and compatibility with the current system.

Great addition to the Arlo line

Does what it claims to do. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to get my Arlo camera to come on automatically when the doorbell is pressed. This is easily done from the Arlo application as a several-step process (answer the telephone call, go to the Arlo application, use fingerprint to validate the application, and the camera will then come on), which makes for a delay of several seconds. This could be shortened by removing Arlo's requirement to validate one's identity (fingerprint or face recognition) after having already done the same for the phone; it should have an option to turn the validation off. Overall I am very pleased with the hardware and general responsiveness of the system.

Excellent replacement product.

Communications between cell and bell, and when combined with the siren and camera's it adds to security needs. The motion detector helps guest locate the bell easily from about 10 ft.

Works as intended. My arlo home security suite is complete.

Chime makes ample noise. There isn’t a delay at all. Base station is about 25-35 feet from chime/doorbell and the chime rings after about 2 seconds Does the job.

Cheerful chime sound

I was glad We had several chime options to choose from. We found one that was pleasant to hear.

Great product. Loud enough to hear anywhere in the house. Works perfect every ring. Good value.
