Deep, sturdy, with removable dividers and a handle

I needed a place to store and organize my steam hair curler set. The dividers snapped in easily and securely. I left larger areas in the front for the steam unit on one side and my large collection of curler jaw clips on the other. In the remaining sections I organized my foam curlers by size. I ordered a second box for my ever growing collection of hair accessories that had begun to fall off the window sill where I was storing them in little plastic food storage containers. The satchel is a big improvement. I have my hair accessories in the sections by type. Since the boxes stack nicely I put the box of accessories on top of the steam hair curler set. I am pleased with these satchel boxes. They are nice and deep, appear to close securely, and have dividers that are easy to snap in to create whatever size compartments you need. If you are going to use the dividers you do have to put the center one in first.

Love these bins!

Love, love, LOVE these bins. I've purchased several of them to be used in the office for facilitating meetings (pens, markers, tape, post-its, etc). They're incredibly durable and the integrated handle makes them very easy to carry. The top locks securely - I've never had one come undone and we've been using them for over a year. My only critique would be that the interior dividers don't lock securely in place. There's about a 1/4" gap between the lid and dividers so they slide out of the tracks on the bottom. No big deal if you're storing larger things, but small items (like mini-binder clips) can slide under the dividers and get stuck.

I have 5 of these. Why? Because there isn’t another vessel quite like it. As an art market vendor who sells greeting cards and stickers, this little bit of heaven doesn’t get taken for granted. It’s easy to construct the center pieces, a no-brainer really. And upon first examination, one may think, “Is this sturdy? It’s so lightweight and handy... is it all too good to be true?” Let me tell you: it has withstood some serious beatings from traveling (from outdoor market to outdoor market) and my own hurried clumsiness. The handle is tough enough to handle some decent weight and those latches have never failed me once. The slot sizes make it perfect for my vinyl sticker collection and my A2 size cards. I use them for shows and for seasonal card storage in the studio. Do yourself a favor and pay the money for the real deal. I’ve looked high and low for compartment storage with such ease of use, and here is where I landed.

Fantastic Containers - not just for art

These bins are great! We've purchased multiple from amazon and the container store. We use them to store art supplies, first aid supplies and various medications. They work so well and slide perfectly underneath our bed. The plastic is heavy duty while the closures really seal the box shut. The bin also comes with removable dividers so that you can customize the fit of what you are storing. We found these bins to be extremely helpful and have been waiting to purchase another one for small toys.

Perfectly made.

These boxes are very well made. They can be stacked on top of one another and the catches work well. A real advantage is that the top is transparent. (so many storage boxes have a coloured top that you can't see through). My daughter has ADHD so she needs to be able to SEE things (otherwise she forgets she has them!). The dividers slot in well and you can choose which ones to use, ie you don't have to use them all, so you can vary the size of the compartments.

Great storage

Nice, large storage box. It comes with dividers. I bought a marker tray for mine and use it for craft storage. Lots of room in this box. Worth the price!

GREAT FOR ORGANIZING AND STORING TUBES OF ACRYLIC PAINT

This is perfect for organizing and storing all of my tubes of acrylic paint, a section for each color. I had to work a little with installing the dividers to get them right. Once I had them in correctly, the lid was able to snap securely closed, so that it can be carried safely by the handle and all of the tubes stay in their compartments. Now I feel organized, and know when I need more of a particular color! NOTE: I notice that many mention difficulty in installing the dividers si that the lid will close firmly with the two clips snapping in place. I had the same trouble at first and thought the lid wasn’t going to close tight so that you can pick the case up with the handle and have it stay firmly shut. After analyzing how it goes together and a little experimentation, I got it right. Glad I figured it out, as this case is so ideal for my acrylics!

PERFECT for Trading Cards in Top Loaders!!!

So, I collect hockey cards and have been looking for an inexpensive plastic case to store my collection in that would help protect them from a minor water accident and to make carrying them around easier. Typical cases made for trading cards on the market are either 1)Way too expensive 2)made out of cardboard (not good for water protection) or bad/cheap rolled plastic 3) wont hold cards in top loaders upright.....this case is PERFECT for all of the above! Only way could improve if it was 2" shallower because card in top loader is apx 4" tall/deep and this case is apx 6 " tall/deep, so I just added 2" window foam to bottom to stand cards on and "bam" works perfect! Can store apx 1000 standard top loaded cards and can store graded cards "upright" too! Gonna order a case of these containers now!! Oh and case is very light weight too! Card collectors, this is a GREAT case for your collection!

Nice quality and all around functionality.

I like the ArtBin Super Satchel because fo the locking clips and the handle. The adjustable sections in the bin are a plus. It seems to be a good quality piece that will last. The case is large enough to accommodate a variety of objects and manageable enough that I still feel like the items are accessible. It is not a hassle to pull this larger case off the shelf versus some of the smaller cases. Purpose: I am a curator that needs ways to transport my supplies and tools. I like these cases because I can just bring what I need based on the project.

Great for storage

I bought this to store 4X6 photos. I wasn't sure if they would fit in the smaller compartments but they did perfectly. I was impressed with the seeming durability of the product and would consider more ArtBin products. The color is also very fun!
