Good pictures quality

This product has very good pictures captured and also came with lager storage can be save on the system ‘ the only thing is you really need one professional guy the help you install, unless you have all the tool I did it on my wife little gift shop ‘ it took me like 5hour to put all the wire and connected ‘ but besides the other product this item has really good price. ‘

Good product for the price

I was looking for security surveillance cameras for my aunts retail store and thought of buying arlo due to its wireless/wifi capability which gives you the option to hookup anywhere you like however later found that you need to pay extra $ if you go beyond 5 cameras. I stumbled on this DIY camera system because it has 8channel 1080p with night vision and 1TB hard drive DVR along with email notifications. Package has 4 720p dome cameras and it doesn't need monthly subscription or extra $ to increase the channels like arlo, which gave the option to add 4 more cameras at no extra cost. Even though we didn't add additional cameras, hope it works. I can't complain on the quality for the price you pay. If you already have inlets/outlets for the cameras then installation is super easy else i would suggest to DIY installation early fall/spring/summer as you need bit amount of time outside planning and installing wires around the place. Good product for the price and so far we are satisfied with all it has to offer.

Best system in the price range Updated

Update: Now that Ive had this system up and running for a couple of months I have found one thing I absolutely cant stand. The search feature when playing back video is horrible. The video is fine but trying to narrow down video to the minute is frusterating because there is no feature that lets you zoom to minutes or seconds. You get a 24 hour timeline display and you must select the time you want to view in that timeline. If you could zoom or select the display to show a 1 hour timeline accross the screen searching would be much easier. That being said this is still a great system at an excellent price. I will even say I'm more impressed with this system after it went through the winters heavy rain, high wind and almost freezing temperatures. The cameras all work fine, the picture quality is still good and the lenses are still clean and water tight. I still feel this was a great deal even with the search functionality I dislike. I researched a ton of security systems in prices ranging from $100.00-$300.00. I picked this one because it had most of the features I was looking for. To get all the features I wanted I just had to add an additional higher range camera. The 4 cameras this system comes with are better than expected but low on features. But who cares at this price. The picture during day or night is decent and with the upgraded camera excellent. What I like the most about this system is the ability to add nicer cameras with more functions and the dvr's ability to support all said functions. The setup is extremely easy if you are a little tech savy but even those who are not will be able to set this system up with little troubl. Just go through the manual and read everything on the screen before making your choice. The motion detection setup is excellent and with a little patients you can set it up exactly to your liking so you only get alerts for the area's that matter most. Spend a little time setting it up and you will greatly reduce false alerts. The app to view on a smart phone is a little bland and the instructions arent perfect but if you or a friend has ever setup windows and a router then you will be able to set the app up and view on your phone in no time. The functionality and expandability of the dvr needs to be mentioned again. It's just that good. I added 100 foot cables to two of the cameras that came with this system and there was no quality loss of any kind. The shipping was fast, packaged well and everything worked right out of the box. I'm confident there is no better system in the 100-300 dollar range and for this price the quality of everything is far better than I expected. I highly recommend.

Security Guard

Our family travels a lot and we needed something to keep an eye on our house and this has been doing it so far. We are going to be out next week on spring break and that will be real test. So far I had no issues other than minor but looks like it was definitely worth buy. The picture quality is very good and getting alerts (set it as per ones's requirement) on my phone is great. This is a good product at a good price and I will be adding more of these cameras in the future. I wish had bought them sooner. The ONLY thing I would personally improve is the length of the cable but that is reason we have extension cords.

These are awesome!

I wasn't sure what I was going to think about having cameras in my house all the time. But honestly I barely notice them. The are sleek looking, and very aesthetically pleasing! The install was time consuming, but the end result is great. The software was very self explanatory. I now have video of my house anywhere I am. And receive notifications whenever there is movement and I'm not home! If I miss anything the huge 1TB hard drive saves quite a bit of video.

Clear night vision

Great camera surveillance system, clear visual in both day and night mode, night vision is clear with high definition quality visual. Also, with phone you can check on all the records videos, no additional screen is needed. Set up is taking a while, but pretty easy, nothing tricky or complicated. If you know the basic, then you will be able to set up with any experts.

Excellent image quality and easy to install

I bought this security camera system for the ownership of my business due to the price and functionality. Good image quality and easy configuration. It comes with 4 1080P HD cameras and allows you to add 4 more if you wish. You can set the system to send you picture emails any time the camera detects motion. There is also remote viewing through the application on your smartphone. The package included all cables and 1TB storage capacity. Good night visibility of the vision. Good wide angle view. I love this security system. I would definitely buy them again.

High picture quality and easy to install camera system

My sister owns a beauty shop and and she wanted to install security cameras to monitor activity at times when she the shop is closed or she is away. She wanted a camera system that would not cost her too much, so I started to research for her various product that were available. After doing research I found this system by XVIM. This was just the type of system she was looking for in her store the image quality is high when reviewing the video playback. The camera system has motion detection and maintains a high quality image at night so she can now monitor suspicious activity. She also like being able to use the XVR app to playback recordings which is a positive for her because she is always traveling and now just receives security updates on her phone. She’s not so much into technology so she had me do the installation for her. The installation process was fairly simple. For the price my sister and I both are satisfied with this product

So far so good! The picture quality is better than I thought especially for the price! Night vision works great, live view and playback the video on my iphone, easy download the app from App Store. Include 4 of 3.6 mm lens with wide view angle cameras, can use indoor and outdoor with weatherproof, the system include 1 TB hard drive and capacity to 4 TB, it also Supposed HDMI and VGA output, easy use USB to backup very convenience. The only thing I would love to wish is use with a remote instead of use mouse.

Good system at the good price

I bought this security camera system to replace the old one, because I didn't like much about it. Most of all not satisfed with the quality of the picture. It was bad even during the day, not to mention the night. Also there was very poor software and I cloud not normally watch the video, not to mention the notification on the phone about the movement in the house, which is in this system, but about this later. With all this, she was 100$ more expensive that this one. After using the old system I decided to order this one. And you know, I didn't regret a bit for the spending my money. I received it recently, but I can confidently say that is it many times better than my old system. Due to the fact that I have already installed one system, this installation was easy. Probably for a beginner it will be hard to install it, but it's worth it. Now turn to the advantages of this system. The most important thing is that I liked the quality of the video, it is a cut above my old system both during the day and night. Also I really liked the futures and great variability in the setting. You can set up traffic notifications when you're not at home. And just watch the video from your phone will not be difficult. I can mark a large storage for files. What else do you need? Good video quality, necessary functions, large storage for files, this is enough to consider the system good. I glad that I chose this system and did not get myself a bad system as I had. The only advice before buying a system was to find extension cords, I had them, and therefore I didn't encounter this problem, but the cables here are a bit short.
