I'm not a big Nerf fan, but I purchased this gun as part of a Capture the Flag event. It comes with six bullets, and you have to manually load them into the gun as you would an actually revolver. In addition every time you want to fire you have to cock the gun. This can make it a little difficult to fire many bullets rapidly, however, once you get used to it, you can go at a pretty decent clip. I found it to be pretty accurate (or as accurate as I would expect for a Nerf gun), the range was about 20-30 feet, and it is lightweight, so I was able to enjoy running and gunning with it. If you're looking for a pistol/revolver type nerf gun, I would recommend this one. For the price it's pretty good.

This is the best sidearm, I don't care about what you "hammershot Elitists" say Who needs two sidearms when your main one can fire at 145 FPS! Okay okay, I may be a BIT biased because I already modded mine with the orangemods Strongarm kit with the biggest worker spring I could find. I love it it fits in my holster, it packs a punch and makes and awesome sound when you spin it closed. Pros!: Slamfire- Being able to channel your inner McCree and fire six darts in less than two seconds is pretty AWESOME Durability-I've been tackled and have landed with almost 400 Lbs (me and one of my compatriots weights combined) of pressure on this Blaster and it still works like a charm! Modable!-If you mod nerf guns this thing is a perfect testbed for any little experiments, at the price point its unbeatable! Cons: NONE!- its perfect! Okay one problem...- If you mod it youre going to want a metal slide as the internal parts can break easily with the added weight of the stronger springs. Final Thought: Anytime I'm Nerfing this is always on my hip and I'm rarely seen without it. It packs a punch and has saved me more times than I can count. I lovingly dubbed mine "The Wingman" because once you get one it'll never leave your side!

I bought this gun based on reviews I read for this gun as well as reviews for other guns. The reason this gun is the number one best seller for Nerf Guns on Amazon is because it really is the best in the entire lineup. It has tremendous range, does not jam, highly accurate with third party darts and is easy to load and shoot. Concerning the darts: Nerf darts do not fly straight out of any Nerf gun. The best darts to use for accuracy are the Raytheon Toys darts; the head is soft plastic, not foam, and is slightly smaller but flies much straighter than a Nerf dart. After attending my first Nerf Battle Party which had a wide variety of Nerf guns, both current and a couple of years old, including the Modulus, this gun stands out as the best. The modulus, which is very nice, did jam a couple of times and does not have a very good shooting range as indicated in other reviews The Strongarm did not jam, shot accurately from long distances and proved to be the best on the battleground.

I originally bought a pair for my nephew as a Christmas gift, but then decided me and my lady needed a pair as well. These are AWESOME. Especially for the price. Rapid fire feature works well, and with suction cup darts I can hit the bulls-eye target I drew on my mirror (dry erase markers!) from 20-30 feet and they consistently stick and are pretty accurate. It easily shoots across two rooms of my house and I can hit targets about 40 feet or so away with good velocity (the suction darts don't stick that far though). Also fun for battling it out or supersize attacking your significant other. When I bought these they were only $9 or so. Super cheap for a lot of fun.

We bought 6 of these guns for each member of our family. We have already tried them out in an epic Christmas eve Nurf gun war. The purchase of 100 more darts was necessary. We took down the Christmas tree and found a few leftover darts in there too! Due to relatives coming and going, a variety of ages have used these guns from 2-40 and they are very easy to use.

I got this for my son at Christmas and it has provided lots of fun. It's safe enough to use in the house and lots of fun outside. It is CLEAR that it is not a realistic gun , as sadly we need to be sure of these days. It is not easily accidentally fired so I don't have to worry he will injure himself. The toy is tough and has withstood drops and sitting outside in the rain a couple of times and one night in the snow. It fires consistently and makes only a quick "pffft" noise on release of the cartridge. It was very inexpensive during a Christmas sale and only 1/4th the price WM was charging. It has more than given it's monetary value in exercise and play time.

Personally, as a grown man, I love this gun. I bought 2 of them so that I could war with my wife. I most likely should've consulted her before making this purchase. I may or may not of shot her a few times and was scolded as a result. Apparently, I might take games too seriously and have an issue with competition. Woops. Would I buy it again? Maybe not to shoot my wife, but definitely when we have a kid! They remind me of a better, more compact version of what I played with as a kid! Awesome!

My 3.5 yr old asked for a dart gun for Christmas for him and daddy to play with, I bought two of these and they exceeded my expectations. He can even cock the gun himself so it makes for playing together that more fun. The darts to hurt a little when shot at close range, they have a good punch, but that doesn’t stop them.

My 4 year old and I have begun the Nerf battles that he keeps seeing on TV, so I had to upgrade us to a multi shot option.. We both love the two I purchased... They simply work great... (& he can actually pull this one back to arm it, so that is a bonus... Some can be a bit hard for smaller kids)... Great purchase for us... Shoots a good distance, etc... Very happy....
