The best sun shade for SUVs

These are the only sunshades I’ve found that are large enough to fit our 2003 Ford Expedition windows. They’re large enough to fit around the door frame with some room to spare. They seem to provide adequate shade as my 4 year old used to complain about the sun beaming in the backseats and has not since we started using this product. Comes with a storage bag so you can quickly and conveniently toss them in there for easy storage when the sun is not shining.

Keep Your Cool With Sox!

I purchased two sets of the XL. They are quick and simple to use. The stretchable band and material of the Sox shade slide over the frame of my vehicle's large doors and cover the windows with two layers of thin mesh shade material. On cooler days I can leave two opposite side windows open slightly to allow air to circulate without mosquitos or insects getting into the interior of the vehicle. The vehicle interior stays much cooler with the side windows shaded all day. These Sox shades make all the difference! I use them with a front windshield fold-out shade. I remove the shades prior to driving. Each pair of Sox come in a nice zipper top cloth storage bag. They fold up very small and light to store in the bag when not in regular use. I keep mine in the pocket behind the driver's and front passenger's seat for easy access now that it's spring & summer. I can't speak to durability because I haven't used them for very long at this point, nor have they gone through rain, bad weather, or the washing machine to remove dirt or bird droppings. As with any light weight mesh clothing item, for washing the Sox I plan to place them in a large zipper top mesh wash bag suitable for delicate items. I don't know if the black dye is color fast so I will wash them with other black clothing in case the dye bleeds. I will use a mild detergent such as Woolite on the cold water setting and then air dry the Sox. I do not recommend putting mesh material such as Sox through the dryer. The mesh can actually fuse together in the high heat. By the way, elastic bands in clothing will last far longer if they do not go through the heat of the dryer. The rubber in elastic breaks down in the high heat of the dryer, thus the band loses its ability to spring back once stretched out.

XL Fits 2006 Honda Ridgeline

I first ordered the Large but it was a bit small. It left an inch or so gap at the bottom of the window. So I returned it and ordered the XL and it fit my 2006 Honda Ridgeline perfectly. I am also installing a window visor and it looks like it'll work just fine. I look forward to using this on my road trips.

Finally car shades that fit well and work great!

Our kiddos have been suffering on long car rides with sun in their eyes for a long time. This is not due to my lack in trying to find them the perfect sunshade. I have tried everything known to man and only when we ordered these did we finally find something that works! They fit our Toyota Highlander perfectly, are easy to use and store, and make the backseat almost cave-like for the kids which is perfect for long car rides when we need them to sleep! At first I got the extra large. It was too big. I returned it. The company reached out to me and asked for my exact measurements so they could make it right. They sent me the size that fit my vehicle exactly. I would highly recommend this item as it does block out the sun and you can open and close the window with no issues. So easy and great fit!

I have a 2015 Honda Pilot and these fit great!! So easy to put on! So far so good, they provide great shade. They are super dark so it does create a bit of a blind spot, I didn’t realize I typically looked through my back seat window when looking behind me but it’s fine.

Very easy to install and remove, I have a 2017 Ford Explorer Base and fit very nice, my baby is very happy because now the sun is not hitting her too much.

They work well

These work well at keeping out the extra light and allow you to roll your windows down. They do what they are supposed to. They are a little big on my Traverse windows but not to bad. It does look a little funny on the car but I don't mind since it works.
