This is a Great Camera, I bought these for their 5 GHz stream, in comparison with other brands/models these cameras have the most features. I rarely see jitters in live view, love the motor ZOOM! You will Pay for it though ... The phone app could be more intuitive, I wish I could learn how to preset or save views but this has never worked for me with 3 different brand cameras.

I had the old model of this that only had a 90 degree viewing angle (the IB3M-941) and liked that camera. This one is pretty much the same only has a higher resolution available and a wider camera angle. the 120 degree angle allows me to put this in a corner and see from wall to wall, getting the whole room (except right under the camera of course). Night vision distance is accurate. Set this up on a Synology NAS w/ surveillance station and its working great, easy setup and the video works great.

I researched this wi fi camera for its dual wi fi channels, illiminating the need to disable the 5G band on my dual band router. Connected via Ethernet cable directly to my router to illuminate any chance of interference installing the app. I purchased this item to monitor my mechanical room at a remote location in case furnace went out, causing pipes to freeze and burst. Camera works flawlessly and I can monitor it from hundreds of miles away. Night vision is OK,but I remied that issue with a small nightlight that is left on. Very pleased with it and plan to add more in the future.

This camera is a nice upgrade from previous models FOV is 120 vs 90 for their 1080P 2MP model. The video and picture quality are excellent. If you have a decent internet connection there is almost no lag in the video and audio. You can totally see everything thing that is going on. Setup was a little troublesome as always with Amcrest, could not get it to setup via wifi with the app, had to plug in the Ethernet and set it up via the app, change the IP via the browser for port forwarding and a static IP just in case the IP changes. Amcrest provides you the ddns to access your camera from the anywhere so that is a plus. I have some of their external 4 MP cameras with and NVR for over a year and have had no issues so far. Have had this for a week and pretty happy with the picture quality.

I have a few Amcrest cameras but this is my first one of this model. Compared to the 3 MP range, I like the fact that this one has a wider angle of view, it allowed me to take in the whole of our kitchen area and front door entrance in one picture. Also the picture is noticeably higher quality. I use all my cameras with Blue Iris and this one hooked up pretty easily and worked perfectly for my application. Picture is great day and night. Access to video via a web browser isn't so great using Chrome, but via Internet Explorer works just fine. This is my only real issue with the Amcrest cameras, this one is no different from my older cameras. But since my access is usually via Blue Iris it's not a problem to me. The camera has plenty of configuration options, perhaps a little confusing if you aren't used to dealing with it. However most people won't need to change much. This model like the previous generation isn't able to rotate and look down quite as far as some of the older Amcrest ones. For most applications this is easily rectified by mounting it upside down and inverting the picture. However I wanted this one sitting on a high shelf looking down. This required I put a wooden wedge under the base to tilt it down slightly. A minor niggle, but I wish they would have engineered it to look down more, it doesn't look like it would have been difficult.

First time in the market for home security system. With all the brands and types available, we decided to try the indoor model before we purchase outdoor cameras this spring. We were impressed with the easy install and setup. The few questions were quickly and completely answered. We will be purchasing additional outdoor cameras to complete our home security system.

I have 10 Amcrest WiFi cams and all have worked great since I got them. They are all located in an area with a strong WiFi signal.

I needed a camera that I could record to my NAS, this one will record to NAS, FTP, or their Cloud, every configurable and good quality and easy to setup.

I owned several Amcrest, it's actually my first security camera system installed at my house and my parent's house. Compare to the older version of 2MP, 3MP this one has much wider angle, which is better and the picture quality is double from the 2MP. The set up is also super easy, all can be done by phone unlike the 2MP need to set up by IP through PC if your router has 2.4gz and 5gz. Price is also getting cheaper, too.
