Our 9 year old son has been talking about drums for many months now, so we got him this set for Christmas. I'm SO glad I got this one- it sounds realistic, and not 'fake' at all! The best thing was that the seller was able to deliver it by December 24th, which NO OTHER retailer could do. And the competition was not as convincing in their reviews. Our son has loved jamming out when he can. He tries to replicate the pieces he hears on the set, and that's helped him get a good feel for rhythm. Not to mention that the whole house doesn't have to listen to his attempts. :D Thanks, Ivation, for having such a great, and accessibly priced alternative to a full size drum set!!

My nephew loved it!

I got this for my 7 year old nephew for Christmas, and he absolutely loved it! It was simple enough for him to use and figure out on his own, and the sound was loud and almost comparable to a real drum-set. Let's just say my sister-in-law was not the happiest! LOL!

Perfect for my kids

This was smaller than I was expecting but perfect for my seven year old to ruin his ear drums. If you insert the jack into the headphones slot too far it plays out the speaker and the headphones. Otherwise it sounds like drums. He loves it

Drum Set portable pad space saver

My Grandson absolutely loves your product. He is 14 and working on learning drum set style of playing. He finds it easy to navigate. He stated he wished the cymbals were higher. He is going to try the suggestions left in the instructions to help solve this problem, Thank you for your prompt delivery.

Great gift for our Granddaughter

I purchased this item for our 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas. I did a lot of research before making my decision. Found this one had the best reviews and met the needs of being easy to transport as well as quality sound as well as comparable to connect to nice headphones. It was a hit and so far as I know she loves it.
