Nice little economy video camera

I think this is a great starter camera that looks really nice and is very portable in size. It comes with a microphone, carrying case, remote, camera lens cover, hdmi cord, instructions, and a battery that's a AA or AAA (can't remember) but it goes in the microphone to give it a boost and the sound on it is phenomenal! The little microphone on this thing is my favorite feature and you can even change it out for a microphone of your own choosing as it's got a little port in the back where it plugs in and you could get any microphone and plug it in- like if you wanted to do a wireless microphone and had a receiver to hook into it- that would work. Or if you just have a favorite microphone. Other than that it's a pretty straight forward camera that takes a micro sd card and you put it in and can instantly start recording or taking pictures! It has resolution settings, white balance... A few basic settings but not a million settings to give you a headache like some technology will! I think this camera is a great one for people that like simpler technology and don't need a million features. The screen on this also flips around so you can do your own videos and know where you are on screen- I like that. It does have a threaded hole in the bottom so you can mount it with a tripod (not included). Other than that- that's this camera summed up. Get it and try it out.

Love this cam, the pic quality is just great, it's light weight and easy to carry, having an external microphone makes a great difference is sound quality, Overall impressive, i would recommend.

Budget camcorder for blogging startup

For this price point, I will consider this product perform its value with its features. If you compare it directly with other professional camcorders, of course you will find frustration. I use it for the startup blogging video and find the features and quality satisfied at this price tier. Several features I like to highlight are that - - it comes with a record control, so you don't need to run around to turn on and off the recording. - an active microphone, which power by a battery, which means it can amplify your voice so that even video recording is taken at a distance, it can still pickup your voice. Of course, it's nice that it has the mic input, you can connect a wireless microphone if you want. - the LCD screen is "touch screen". you can navigate the functions/features by buttons or just hit on the LCD screen. plus, the LCD screen is "turn/flip-able" which means you can turn the LCD towards you, and you know what it is exactly recording and then you can zoom in/out accordingly. - 1080p video/pictures quality are acceptable. not crispy professional one, but I am satisfy for general tutorial or blogging purposes. The LCD menu doesn't have lots of settings, but those import one are there. Comes with lens cover, nice carry bag. I am happy with its features, functions and quality for my use. Once I get to the professional level, have more budget or need higher quality, then I will seek something else, but this is a great startup.

This was bought a gift to 21year old niece for colledge class and she loves it

this Christmas we had my wife's niece visiting us from Russia. we tried to bless her with a few nice expensive gifts as it was her visit to USA. She can't stop bragging about it lol she needed a good quality camera/video cam for her university projects in her journalism class... my wife did all the research what she needs for school etc. I did the research on quality and specs of the product. On top of that I did a comparison to our sony record cam that my wife has, I have to tell you quality difference is very little and both have identical features. Price difference is HUGE which is why I bought this camera, it;s just not worthy paying more for the same product only because of known brand name especially if I buying it as a gift to a college student. So if you are on the budget this is a perfect solution.

Great price and quality.

I like this camera especially with this price and the size. It is really small, light weight and conviente, also has all the basic things that meets family use. External mike works great and picture quality is good. I bought it as a gift for my parents, glad they liked it, great price and quality.

Very good quality

I was surprised at the amazing quality of this product. This price is a very good one as you would usually spend $100 on a microphone alone. this camcorder comes with easy to follow instructions, a lens cap, a remote and a case for the camcorder. This is also useful if you've been considering vlogging or filming, the viewfinder flips and moves so you can film yourself or others easily.

Quality Video/Photos

The anti-shake feature is so much better than ones I have used in the past. Will be using this a lot!

Super-compact and 24 megapixels

The camera easily fits in you pocket if you remove the microphone and having 24 megapixels is way better than taking pictures with my phone. It has a remote and a place for a tripod to mount so selfies are even gonna be better and easier. There's a light on the front but it's LED so it's not like scary movie bright but you can film in the dark if you want to. One thing I thought was odd is it uses a mini-sd cable. I haven't see one of those in years but at least I can charge my calculator with the same cable. I bought this to start my YouTube channel and I think this will work perfectly for that if I can get more lights and umbrellas. It didn't come with an SD card so make sure you order one if you don't already have it.
