Great product.. Good value... some Manufacturing QC concerns

Overall I would recommend the product. I had an aluminum griddle that came with my Samsung range. I liked it but replaced the original after 1 year and got a replacement that again only lasted year as the Non-Stick coating started pealing after that much use. (I do use mine almost every day) So I went with this Cast iron option for the durability and the additional versatility of the grill side. Also the price was better and the dimensions matched my previous one nearly identically. However.. all the good does come with some negative. Aesthetically there are 2 noticeable blemishes that appear to have occurred at finishing stage of the manufacturing process where they compromised the consistency of the finish by what it appears was attempts at grinding some of the material likely to remove larger blemishes. So unfortunately those blemishes will always be there. If not for those it would be 5 star review. (Follow up 6/10/19) I modified my review from 4 stars to 5 stars as Legend did a great job of customer service and making sure the issue was resolved in any way they could. So in summary my experience with Legend and this product has been great. Additionally.. the griddle itself keeps getting better and better with use! By far my most used piece of cookware.

Perfect!

This is perfect for our family. On the grill and on the stove top! Salmon, steak, veggies. Yummy! Caution to newbies! Make sure you season it properly according to directions. I did 5 rounds and it's perfect!

Awesome product!

This is a really nice cast iron griddle! Love that it has two sides, flat and raised for cooking bacon, etc so that the fat drains off. Came nicely packaged-would make a great gift! The griddle is heavy and well made. Nice that it comes with its own scraper, too!

Quality Griddle

The griddles I purchased are very good quality and come pre-seasoned. Additional seasoning is recommended and explained in detail. I expect to use these through my lifetime.

Well made

We've used this a couple times on our gas stove. One time to cook pancakes, 2nd time to cook bacon. Downside is it starts smoking a lot when there is a lot of grease so you have to babysit it a bit and keep the grease to a min. I'm sure this will work great in a camping setting which is probably where we'll try it next!!

Excellent Purchase.

I used my new griddle a few days after receiving . The quality of construction and design is perfect. a Nice size for both indoor and outdoor use. I followed the instruction and did season it a few times before using. Used it on the gas grill the first time and it performed very well. Clean up was pretty easy and I know it will get better with use. All in all I would highly recommend this griddle. Perfect.

It will be great to pass on to my daughter, because it will last

This is one of the best grilled/ smooth pan I have purchased. Its great for grilling a great steak and reverse side for a great pancake. I love my Legend. It will be great for a lasting gift for my daughter

As Advertised Plus

I used cast iron cooking items in the past and was always disappointed with the claimed non-stick . So though saying and appearing to be pre-seasoned, I put it in the oven and ran it up to 450 degrees F. Ran it through three cycles of heating, cooling, very light oil application and reheating. I have never, never had a better non-stick surface while putting steaks and burgers on a very hot cast iron surface. After I also seasoned mine and followed cleaning and oiling direction this griddle performs superbly.

Purchased this for my husband

I made the decision to get this for my husband who has recently been interested in cast iron and he loves to cook with it! I’ve made burgers and the lines (those grill lines) came out nicely. The only thing is.. it can be tricky to get cleaned properly. There is a lot of corners or places where food can get stuck but he loves it! It does take up half the stove though. So make sure you have the storage place before purchasing this item. My husband loves it. I would purchase it again and i would also consider buying it as a gift for someone

10" not 9.5"

I so wanted this to work, but I bought it to fit into a 9.5" inch space and it was actually 10" wide. Such a bummer!! Looks beautiful otherwise, but if you are buying it for the dimensions advertised they are not accurate. Edit: I contacted the company and their customer service was great! They said they would update the dimensions and I see they have changed the description to the accurate size of 10" already (and I assume they will change the packaging too). I got to keep the beautiful griddle and will just use it elsewhere. So, I have ended up a happy customer with an awesome smooth griddle. Still looking for something for the 9.5" space though.......
