It has an easily readable display, a fold out stand, and so small it can be carried in your shirt pocket. Also has built in magnet for hanging on refrigerator. Great Value-

Works great, I don't know what the issue was with instructions, mine were in English but so not needed it is a very simple unit, came with a battery, pull the tab on the battery compartment and it set itself automatically. Seems to be very accurate and adjusts quickly.

Tiny but does the job

Smaller than expected. See it compared with a regular deodorant, but that was exactly what I needed. It works pretty good. It measures the temperature instantly.

I bought this for baby’s room. Great buy. I can take it with me in the diaper bag.

Accurate little device

I bought this thermometer for our new 4 season room, so I could monitor the temperature, and learn how to adjust the heat for that room. Very accurate....corresponds to other thermometers that we own and tested in the room. Even the hygrometer readings seem on par with the rest of the house.

Improved Model

I purchased this to replace an older, dead device because its rated accuracy was better. This unit is small, harder to read and the colorful comfort display basically useless because I can't easily tell where the indicator is positioned. You need to push a button to read the time, not that many people would use this as a clock. It uses more expensive button cells rather than AA battery on the older unit. I was able to get my older unit (HTC-1) functioning (turned out to have a Duracell battery compatibility issue) and set them side by side. They read basically the same so the older, half as expensive unit is a better value. Update: as a result of the above review, StarTop sent me a new, larger unit that is easy to read and is powered by a AAA battery as I had hoped. I appreciate their customer service and am now a happy customer.

Works well

I did not want to spend a lot of money just to see what the temperature was inside. This thermometer works great. It came with an instruction booklet and a battery with the plastic piece over it for you to remove to start the battery life. I would recommend it. It’s not a huge investment, I would purchase again.

Internal Thermostat verification

This little gadget helps me figure out if the temperature is fluctuating, or me! This helped me when I was staying with my hubby while he was in the hospital.
