does the job

It unfolds easily (easel-y?!), stays upright, balances well, goes back into the pouch without issue. The attached clips work well to hold a big poster. Exactly what I needed!

I bought the 2 pack easels to display 24x20 photo canvases at our son's wedding. The easel is lightweight, easy to assemble and each ease packs up into a small pouch. The easel is sturdy and has holders that are adjustable - a huge plus to select the desirable height for the display. The simple straightforward design does not distract from the display. I also plan to use it in business meetings to hold flip charts. The carry pouches makes it easy to transport. Because it is lightweight, it won't hold up outside in windy conditions.

Super impressed with this easel. Great value for money, and worked perfectly for a welcome sign for our baby shower. Super easy to assemble too!

Easy set up

Just received this today. It is easy to set up right out of the package. The legs are made of metal which is strung together with elasticized cord. Each piece locks into the others. The easel has two plastic little arms which fold down. I've used these on other easels before and they work well for the type of easel. This is a display easel for light weights, five pounds or less, not heavy pieces. I also like the cloth carry bag which will protect it during transport and storage.

Perfect for holding foam board signs

Good quality, sturdy

This is a bigger, stronger display easel than I expected. In the past I have used these for all sorts of things, mostly displaying foamcore signs at community events. I really like this style of easel because it's so easy to transport - simply fold it up, put it into its stuff sack, and throw it in a tote bag. This particular easel is better quality than many. The cords seem stronger and it's more nimble, meaning you don't have to keep pulling and hauling on it to get it put up or put away - I have another similar easel and the cords are a little too short so it's a real pain to deal with. Not so this model. The durability of it means you can also put something on it that weighs a little more - you could probably display a framed poster if the cover on the artwork is acrylic (glass would be too heavy and hazardous.) The rubber feet on the bottom are also good quality, so no worries about "leg creep" causing a topple. I'd buy another like this without a doubt, should the need arise.

Great value in a compact package

I'm very, very pleased with this easel. It packs into a package that's about the size of a umbrella, and weighs practically nothing. The little fabric storage case is relatively sturdy and easily stored in luggage or a backpack. The easel itself pops into place quickly and easily, and the parts are attached together so no losing pieces and parts here and there, and no assembly - just pull a little to get the legs into place and they slip right together. You definitely shouldn't put anything heavy on this - it's not a heavy duty easel - but for a light weight flip chart or whiteboard it's steady and not easily tipped over.
