I love these! The two different patterns provide great versatility in adding texture to artwork. I'm particularly enamored of using the "magic eraser" with these to add soft texture by taking away color in the stencil pattern. Picture shows in a few different uses.

Smaller bricks good for face painting

I needed a stencil to use for face painting bricks with a sponge. The stencil with the larger bricks is a bit too large for faces, but the smaller one is great. I like the shape and roughness of these bricks, and the mortar lines are thick enough that the paint doesn't smear underneath them (a problem I had with a different brick stencil made for face painting). This stencil two-pack was less expensive than other single stencils that I didn't like as well.

My go-to stencil

I'm pleased with the design of these stencils as they offer many sizes of the shapes on each - one has squares and rectangles, the other has circles and ovals. They are very effective for adding different marks on my paintings. They seem to be of adequate thickness to be durable, but time will tell.

Excellent Product!

The Crafter's Workshop Stencils are of excellent quality,great designs and reasonably priced. Great for mixed media, art journal pages, scrap booking, card making, and making your own collage papers. Would be a good addition to your stencil collection.
