May take a lot of banging if you use on brown coconut but works

Had it for months just used it took a lot of banging but it still works great. Used it non a brown coconut.

Fresh Coconut Water the Easy Way

A produce guy at Whole Foods recommended this tool when i complained about how hard it was for me to get the coconut water out of the coconut. He went in the back and got it out and showed me how to use it although there are lots of how to videos on youtube about it too. Fresh Coconut water is so healthy (It's not the kind that's dead from pasteurization found in the cans) and this tool makes is so easy to drink fresh. I love it.

Very easy to use. I wish I’d seen this years ago. It makes it easy and painless to open up the coconut for the water and the opening is wide enough to easily scoop out all the meat.

Does what it says! I can now rest easily knowing my wife isn’t going to hand me her own finger one day trying to get into a coconut with a cleaver, as she used to use.

Easy to use and effective

Easy to use because you don't need an instruction how to operate it. Effective, because it works right away. Just make sure you are pounding the coconut on a very hard surface like in your garage floor or something like that. My wife did it on a wooden chopping board, sure enough my board had a line crack in between. Lol

Durable! Works great!

This thing is awesome! I LOVE fresh coconut but I never buy it because opening it is such a task. A friend suggested a coconut opener and I found this. Works great and makes it kind of a fun process too! Would definitely reccomend if you are a fan of fresh coconuts !
