CD players can be used in new cars!

I loved the product and the service. This CD player works well with my car stereo. As many of you know, CD players are not installed in the newer cars. I plug it into my Aux port and I can still use my valuable CD's.

Great for audio books

Bought this for my husband who can’t read books anymore but wants to listen audio books. This CD player is perfect. He can pause the book and then come back to the place where he left off. No starting at the beginning of the book. Buttons on CD players are easy for him to read and use.

These cd’s are donations to our local grade school Jk/sk classrooms. Far superior to similar models for less money. They will get plenty of hard use and will hold up well!!

I love this CD player!

With so much music being digital, I didn't even own a CD player anymore but have a ton of CDs that I've missed being able to listen to! I got this one and it is perfect - compact, lightweight, easy to use (even for my 8 year old daughter) and a great price. I was easily able to plug into my speakers and the sound is like what I would expect from a high end player.

Easy way to add a CD player to your car

When I purchased a new Honda, it didn't come with a CD player. This product provided an easy, low-cost solution to that problem. It plugs into the car's sound system and plays through the stereo speakers. The sound reproduction is very good and the control buttons can be mastered quickly.

Top Notch

This is a very impressive little unit and I put it through its paces. I listened through various earbuds & headsets, my home sound system, and my car stereo. It passed with flying colors. The sound is exceedingly clear and without background noise. Surprisingly so. Transients are crisp and clean and there seems to be no attempt at volume compression. It faithfully reproduces exactly what is on your CD. That's the sign of a good unit. It's also a very nicely designed with well thought out controls. Some of the buttons serve dual purpose and it takes a little time to understand how they function. It's not a problem, however. My first reaction was a little disappointing. But, I soon discovered that the problem is with the earbuds that come with the unit. They are thin and tinny sounding. Don't bother with them and use something of a higher quality. You'll be glad you did. As I was testing across three days, using various classical CDs, the better the quality of the headphones I used proved that the quality of reproduction provided by the unit was excellent. Running it through my home sound system and speakers was completely satisfying. I had to really focus my listening to detect any difference from my component CD deck. The same held true when running it through my car stereo. The unit has various tone enhancement settings and they provide the listener the ability to custom tailor the sound to their listening preferences. Actually, I preferred to listen without without any sound enhancement. The frequency response is smooth from bottom to top with bass response starting at 20K. It's all there. The was no problem with skipping. Normal handling was totally stable and the unit will play in any position. The is an additional stabilization feature, but I never encountered a situation where it became necessary to employ. Even driving on bumpy roads there was never any skipping. One little frustration I found was that it's a little difficult to remove a disc. The disc snaps onto the spindle and it's a bit awkward to pop the disc out as the player lid doesn't open up fully. It's a fine sounding unit and I recommend it to anyone shopping for an excellent portable CD player.

Easy CD for a car

I recently got a new car that did not have a CD player. This one was selected because of positive reviews and that it came with a power cord. It is very easy to use, sounds great on the car sound system and feels sturdy. One nice feature is that it remembers where you stopped it and continues when you turn it on again. If you are looking for a reliable car CD that can also be used as a personal cd player, this one fits the bill.

exceeds expectations!!

not sure what I expected but this gem exceeded expectations from the box!!….shipping was awesome (but it was prime), product top rate and sound unbelievable.....expect lots of GREAT music for my car travels!!! thanx guys

easy to use

I gave this to my hubby for Christmas as his car does not have a CD player . He was able to hook up to car fast and easy and play thru radio . So easy, compact and good sound. He is glad to play his CD again.
