• New version released September 2019: better/lesser taste, more electrolytes, new look
  • Stay more hydrated with the same drinks you love. Unlike any other product, Buoy is meant to be squeezed into all kinds of drinks without compromising taste, and with no sugar, calories, carbs, or artificial ingredients.
  • “Buoy was formulated with a smaller amount of electrolytes per serving than most other products so you can use it safely throughout the day and enjoy consistent, increased hydration levels.” - Dr. Lianli Li, PhD
  • Developed by a pharmaceutical expert. Recommended by nutritionists, doctors, and wellness coaches.
  • Take Buoy with you to the coffee shop, gym, and even the bar. Pack it for camping and hiking trips. And yep, Buoy is cleared to fly.

I am really impressed with this new version of Buoy! I originally started using it after being diagnosed with chronic fatigue by my naturopathic doctor and was recommended to take a mineral and electrolyte supplement. I gave Buoy five stars because it was the best option out there for staying hydrated on a daily basis. I just tried their new version and its much better than their previous one! It's almost unfair to give it the same five-star rating. I noticed a little bit of taste in the old version (and I actually didn't mind it) but this new version is leaps and bounds more tasteless and less noticeable than their old one. I'm also a sucker for good branding and love the design of the new bottle. For those of you considering an electrolyte supplement - especially for more energy - do yourself a favor and just click the button. I remember feeling overwhelmed by all the options out there and frankly, not having the energy to care about which ones I was using. I was sluggish throughout the day, specifically after work where all I wanted to do was lay on the couch. I've done a lot of other things in the meantime like clean up my diet a bit, but I can really notice now when I'm dehydrated and haven't been "squeezing" enough. Try as many options out there as you think you need to! For me, I just didn't like dumping powder into my water (which had a super intense taste), using other concentrates that taste way too salty, or waiting for NUUN tablets to dissolve in my water bottle which ended up also having a weird taste by the end of the day. I'm a teacher, so I don't get many options to fill up or drink during class, so squeezing this in a coffee or a water bottle ends up being the best for me.

I have been using a few different electrolyte products for a while now and saw that Buoy would not be as strong of a taste as other products. Thats one of the main things I dont like about Hilyte, Lyteshow, and any other ones I have tried. They all work well for hydration as far as I can tell, but all of them taste like you're taking a sip from the ocean, regardless of what type of drink it is added to. Buoy is better for me because now I can add electrolytes to any drink I have, not just water, and dont taste it. I taste it a little bit in water, but like the taste when I do notice it. Buoy is also easy to just do one squirt per serving whereas with the Hilyte and Lyteshow bottles, you have to carefully measure out each serving. Other than that, you're getting pretty much the same benefits out of them. Being hydrated is important, so it doesn't matter how you do it, just pick something that works for you.

My daughter was recently diagnosed with POTS. She was taking 4-1L bottles of electrolyte water to school each day. Having trouble getting to her locker to grab another bottle sometimes and wasn't drinking what she should to keep her blood volume up. I stumbled upon Buoy and ordered some to try. She is now taking one bottle to school, refilling at water fountains and adding Buoy! She also takes extra sodium daily. She has also been adding Buoy to Gatorade for extra electrolytes. She said she feels a little more "normal" since she isn't carrying multiple bottles to school, and it's SO easy to use Buoy in everything! Thank you! This mom feels better because I don't have to bug her to drink more, and since we received Buoy she has drank at least her minimum each day!

When I switched to the Keto diet, my doctor told me that I would be cutting out a lot of foods, like fruit, that had water in them. He also warned me of the "Keto Flu" which happens when your body starts adjusting to the ketosis metabolic state, where you're burning mostly fat for energy rather than sugar. I never had too much of an issue with the flu symptoms, but I definitely noticed lower energy levels. Part of this was because I already didn't drink much water, but I ended up cutting out a lot of foods that had water (and sugar) in them. Staying hydrated becomes even more important when you're on the Keto diet, so adding a hydration boost into my water actually goes a long way into feeling better throughout the day.

I would not have made it home from Vegas without Buoy. My friends and I were in Las Vegas for New Years Eve and we stayed out a little too late and had a little too much to drink. We had been using BetterTomorrow to add into our drinks but recently switched to Buoy because it's easier to add into the drinks. The company says to add Buoy into at least 75% of your drinks in a night if you want to reduce the hangover effect, but because we knew we would be drinking a lot, we put it in everything--wine, beer, and jager. 3 out of the 4 of us felt pretty great the next morning and our other friend said he felt a little foggy. Either way, we cruised back to Southern California with no issue. This stuff beats waking up without a killer hangover! Super easy to use.

At a free nutrition consult on campus I learned that 3/4 people in America are dehydrated. The nutritionist panel debunked the myth that you need 8 glasses of water everyday. People burn through electrolytes and calories by pretty much doing anything and you can only be hydrated if you have a proper balance of fluids and electrolytes in your body. They recommend Buoy or other electrolyte concentrates to be added into your drinks on a daily basis. I have been using it for about a week and although I can't tell too much of a difference yet, I do feel more energized and focused throughout the day. Part of this could be because I'm drinking more water, but I think Buoy is definitely helping!

I use Buoy because I now understand hydration's small but stark difference in everyday life. I don't get headaches as much, I feel more energized, I don't have as intense cravings for food, and I just feel more motivated after work to do more than sit on the couch and watch TV. The key difference I've found between Buoy and other products is that the other products usually have way more electrolytes and minerals than you need in a single serving. If you're getting all of your hydration at once, it will be better than not hydrating at all, but your body will pass the bulk of it without having a chance to use them. Buoy's formula is designed for throughout-the-day use. Once you start using Buoy regularly like me, you will definitely start to feel the full effects.

My yoga instructor uses buoy and her water and recommended it to our class. I purchased one to try it out and I love it. For hot yoga specifically, you will notice if you are dehydrated. A lot of people drink water before class, which is good, but you lose so much fluid and electrolytes from sweating that you need something like this to keep your hydration stable as you workout. I do yoga in the morning and I feel Buoy's effects the most a few hours after class. Normally, I would want to take a nap, but I realized that was more from being dehydrated than actually being tired from yoga. Now, I maintain balanced energy levels throughout the day!

Sharing my experience in case you relate. I don’t like the taste of water. No idea why. I have no scientific theories. I just don’t like plain water, and when I drink it, I feel unsatisfied. I do, however, love bubbly water, and am okay with water with *slight* flavor but no sweetener. With Buoy, I drink water all day long, even without bubbles or flavor (except Buoy flavor - with plain water, there’s definitely a flavor. It’s fine. No biggie.) The new level of hydration is awesome. Now, I love drinking water. Buoy water, anyway. All. Day. Long. And no burping like with the bubbles. Still love bubbly water, but Buoy is easier for every day. For those of you who worry about peeing all the time when you drink more water (as my doctor says, what goes in must come out), yeah, at first you do, but my body adjusted in like 3 days and it wasn’t so inconvenient. Seriously, I love water now. Water without burping. Water with Buoy.

Use: Hangover Prevention Likes: Functionality- I used this product as directed, adding it to some mixed drinks and beer. The following day, although I don't always feel amazing, I also don't have a hangover. I've used it for about a year now. Sometimes I use it after I get home because I don't always bring the container with me. It still seems to work just as well as long as I use it around the same time as when I'm drinking. I haven't used any other hangover remedy products. This product worked the first time I used it and might be working better the more I use it. I've squirted it straight into my mouth and into water as well. I recommend doing that if you want to maximally enjoy the flavor of your beverage of choice. I haven't had a hangover since using this product. Container- The squeeze bottle is superior to glass and other types of dropper container designs. Dislikes- Flavor- Other electrolyte products add 0 calorie flavoring to mask the taste. This product is unflavored so it tastes a bit like sweat. It doesn't taste good all by itself, however I think of it as medicine. The functionality outweighs the flavor to the extent that I don't even think twice about it.
