not a 2 sided tape measure

I went looking for a 2 sided measuring tape, thought this was it. Nope, not 2 sided, just one sided, even though the description says "BOTH SIDE RULER" , and there is a picture of the 2 sided tape. It's ok for a regular measuring tape with a magnetic end, but I already have 3 of them. Had to return it. Tried replying to an email from the company, but after 2 days, no response update..company let me know I got sent the old model, the fixed it right away..thanks

Nice quality tape measure.

First off, this tape measure feels like a quality product. The rubber-like outer cover seems like it will protect from drops. One nice feature (and my favorite) is the markings on both sides of the tape. The end has grips on both sides of the tape and strong magnets making one handed use very easy. Highly recommended, buy one now.

Perfect tape measure!!

Update 01/11/2018 Best tape measure I own! Very sturdy and high quality. Best of all, great customer service that stands behind their warranty! Had a defect a year later and they replaced it for free. Outstanding! Great tape measure, has everything i need and more! Very well made, great price, love having both metric and imperial. The tape is sturdy enough to hold itself up to 7-8' where my previous Stanley tape measure buckles after 4'.

A Fantastic Tape Measure

A Fantastic Tape Measure. Bought a ~$35 DeWalt from HD but that didn't even have half the features this does. Returned that after verifying this Kutir was even better. Centimeters? It does it. So much easier to measure and communicate the measurements to someone else. Why the US is still measuring in Imperial is beyond many.

Well made, lots of useful features

I have used this tape measure quite a bit since I got it, so by now I have a pretty good idea of how I feel about it. The verdict is: I like it! It's not the most heavy duty tape measure I own, which means it's a little lighter as well. I have dropped it on hard surfaces a few times and other than some minor scratches, no harm done. It's as heavy duty as I need it to be and it isn't like carrying a brick around all day. I like the magnetic hook because a don't always have an edge or a nail to hold the hook, this feature gives me a lot more options and it holds well. Another feature I like is having the measurements printed both front and back in mm, cm & m, and inches, (fractions back side only) feet and 16-inch centers. Best of all - the price was right compared to others in its category.

Excellent addition to the toolbag

This is a 5-star-worthy tape measure if ever there was one. The weight, grip, make it easy to work with and the housing shape fits perfectly in my hand. It's got a bit of heft to it but just in the right amount. Those magnets are so strong it grips onto door hinges that have been painted over several times (see picture). The lock is very strong and the raised thumb catch makes locking it a natural movement. The rubber strap is an unexpected, but great addition because it is nearly impossible to have it twist up on you. The clip felt flimsy at first but after I started working with it I realized that the way it is positioned and the two grooves give it plenty of strength without excessively thick metal that is impossible to latch onto, say, your jeans. A contractor apparently liked it because one of the workmen stole my first one. I'm not letting anyone use this one. If you are looking to add a tape measure that has both imperial and metric then I would highly recommend this one.

Fell from heaven right into my hand.

This measuring tape is made by God himself. I ordered it because it got big ol' magnets and it got cm.... Raised in Germany so the imperial measurements is a pain in my .... Anyways on the bottom side it gives you illustration of the fractions what makes it easier to measure. No more guessing. The tape by itself is very stiff and holds up without bending down. The end tip with the magnets adjust well to push against or pull on measurements. Very well made and I think you won't find a better one here or in any hardware store.

I searched hardware stores & could not find a measuring tape that had metric measurements...looked on Amazon & found exactly what I needed. This tape is going to Cuba to help a family that does construction...their current measuring tape only goes 3 meters, so this will be a huge improvement! Smooth and silky tape measure, in both metric and imperial measurements.

Smooth and silky tape measure. Love that it is in metric and imperial measurements. It also has the measurements on both sides of the tape measure. It has handy dandy reference points, and it's bright and easy to read. There is a magnet so you can attach it to metal things, such as a nail or screw to measure, or in a jiffy, you can use to to retrieve such items. It is 25 feet or 7.5 meters long. There is also a nice belt clip and strap so you can carry it with you and you won't drop it. The locking mechanism is very secure and fool proof.

Quality Tape Measure!!!

I got this to replace my old craftsman 25' tape that I've had for 30 years, The Kutir tape is the perfect replacement it is strong and extremely well made the magnet and the handle are also a nice touch something my old tape did not have.
