Very satisfied. Looks great as well. Could stand for it to be a little bit bigger but other than that no complaints.

Beautiful and Functional

Expensive, but inferior knife magnets just don't cut it (pun intended)...and they're unsafe. Plus, this magnet block is BEAUTIFUL-- happy to display it while getting great function, as well.

Holds knives solidly and beautiful

I got the Acacia wood and the first one had to be sent back because it had no character and looked like bamboo or maple. But the second one had a nice reddish color to it and looks amazing in our kitchen. It is overbuilt and holds out knives very solidly. Don't skimp on these bars with a lesser quality or cheaper brand. This bar almost grabs the knife out of your hand when you're putting it back. It's not the easiest to install but pretty straight forward. 20 minutes tops.

Excellent quality!!

Very happy with the quality. The magnets are VERY strong and hold as many knives as I can fit on the bar. Even my large chef knives, they don't slip at all. I've tested some other bars and this one is the highest quality I've found. I bought because it was all wood andI didn't want the steel ones with the magnets showing to scratch my knives. I'm also impressed with the quality of the appearance of the bar. The magnets are totally contained in the wood and hidden so its a very clean look in my kitchen, which is exactly what I was looking for. The walnut is nice and dark but I can still see the grain.

High quality, attractive addition to kitchen

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Stain in picture is very accurate to colour of actual product. Arrived quickly. Could benefit from having a template included for mounting on the wall, but that is a minor inconvenience.

Should have bought you first!!!

I bought a shorter, thinner, cheaper version from a different seller and was disappointed when i opened the damaged box to find it completely empty!! Annoyed, I then process my return and began searching for a better more reliable seller and found this one. After looking over the product and reading the reviews I gladly paid a higher price tag for this all around better product. I bought the acacia finish magnetic block. This one didn't disappoint!! The magnets are deffinatly strong enough to hold all my knives without slipping which is perfect considering i plan to expand my collection to fill all 18in of it. And I love the look and feel of the block. Completely worth it!!

Very nice, but note that it’s heavy

I ordered the bamboo and am very happy with the purchase. As others have noted, this thing is quite heavy. Because I was mounting to tile, I didn’t want to drill, so I used some Gorilla double-sided tape to mount it. Worked great.

Bigger and better.

If you're looking for a bigger, better, heftier magnetic knife holder, this is it. It's much more real estate for your knives to rest on and the magnets are strong. My fingers are safer, and my knives look so good!

My fingers are definitely safer from the knives now, and the knives look so good! I hung this on a metal back splash in my kitchen using heavy duty gorilla mounting tape. Easy to install, strong hold. I bought this for looks but also, I've read that the outer bamboo covering on this protects knife blades from damage they would otherwise receive due to being bonked by metal when you put them away. So far, my knives are still sharp.

Like the style and magnet strength

The magnet is pretty strong. It doesn’t have magnets towards the ends (about 1/2”) so if you are looking for a full length, keep searching. This is enough for my needs and space. I like the wood look versus a magnet strip. Would buy again if it broke (hopefully not).
