Stopped my trailer from bucking!
My receiver is not very tight and so my 16' trainer bucks something fierce. Not enough to move my vehicle but is is significant. I bought this to see what it would do and I am amazed. I wish I had this years ago! I had what was probably a totally overloaded trailer of tree trunks and I am sure it was at least 4,000 pounds. No bucking on the way there with nothing and no bucking on the way home. This is a great idea! I would highly recommend it to anyone who has a worn receiver.

Must Have for Hitch Cargo/Rack
If you are like me and frequently use a hitch cargo rack/box or rack, you likely lament the clinking, clanking, and rattling those things bring to your driving experience. We recently returned from a ~4000 road trip during with a cargo box, and this little stabilizer completely muted all of the annoying noises I had grown accustomed to. Two things to pay attention to: (1) ensure you symmetrically tighten the nuts as I found that if you tighten down one side before the other it is difficult to get the stabilizer fully engaged/tightened, and (2) keep your wrench handy and check the nuts periodically (i.e., at the gas pump when filling up). I found the nuts will loosen while driving, which reduces the stabilizer's benefit. You probably could find some nyloc nuts to keep this from happening, but I just snugged them up if loosened.

Great price... does its job
Perfect hitch stabilizer. Great value for the money. It did it’s job perfectly. I bought it so that I could stabilize my bike rack and it did a great job. I have a six bike carrier and this made it super stable during our trip. I would buy this again.

Works but creates vibration in truck at idle!
Due to the d sign of my camcorder weight distribution hitch I had to install it with the nuts on top. Works at removing the hitch movement in the hitch receiver. I have one big problem with the clamp after installing in that there is a vibration created in my Dodge Ram Diesel with it installed that is very annoying at idle. It make various rattles due to causing a vibration from other parts of the truck especially from my leer truck cap windows and ceiling hardware that’s part of the cap. It will be coming off due to this problem until I can find a fix.

Actually Works Well
I was skeptical about this thing, but it actually works very well. I was having a lot of bumping going on when I stopped and started with my 5000 pound boat and trailer ring. This thing eliminated that. The only bad thing is that you have to take it off and put it back on every time you remove your drawbar and ball. But, there is no way around that.

Opted not to install
I can't really give this product a fair rating. I purchased this for the right reasons but decided not to install due to its ease of use. I don't want to leave my hitch ball permanently mounted and taking this off and on would be to much of a hassle.

Bought with a MaxxHaul 70069 Hitch Extender
This item was easy to figure out and install, and it quickly did the trick to take all of the slack out of the connection between my hitch receiver and the MaxxHaul 70069 Hitch Extender.

Stabilized bike rack on camper
I used this to keep the bike rack on the back of a camper from moving around. Bike racks aren't really made to be bouncing around on the back of a camper, but with this stabilizer, and welding a couple of braces to the rack itself, and also using a ratchet strap as additional support, we've had no issues with bouncing.

Works well
Always had a pickup truck to pull my trailers. Just bought an SUV and when I hooked up a trailer found that the rattling of the hitch assembly (not noticeable in a pickup) was rather loud. This item was very easy to install and keeps the drawbar in position in the receiver eliminating the "rattle".

SUPER HEAVY DUTY!! WORKS PERFECTLY!!
I used different nuts & washers and install it with the nuts on top for ease of install & removal. This thing is EXACTLY what I needed to quiet the hitch rattle. Not a peep inside the SUV now!! Highly recommend!!
