I love this water bottle so much! I ordered the 22oz in the wood grain pattern. Pros: - It will keep ice water cold, in 100+ degree weather. After 12 hours there is still ice inside the bottle. - With the Simple Modern Chug Sports Lid it's really easy to drink out of. It also comes with two other lids, both of which appeared to be of good quality, but not really the styles I prefer. - It's a great size for carrying around. Enough water to keep me happy for awhile, but not too bulky and heavy. Cons: - It doesn't fit in the cup holder in my car. I'm a little sad about that - that's the whole reason I purchased this size, otherwise I would have bought up a size. The wood grain pattern is very pretty and I recommend it.

I ordered 2 of the small ones for my 6 and 9 year old and a larger for my teen. We live in Honolulu and there is no AC in the schools so it gets quite hot. I needed something to keep their water cold all day. After buying cups from a local box store that claimed to keep drinks cold for 16+ hours and failed miserably I ordered these. My kids are so happy! They filled these with ice and water at 7am and when they came home at 3pm the cups were still over 1/2 full of whole pieces of ice. Keep in mind with the smaller cups they are refilling 2-3+ times a day. My oldest still had almost the same ice she left with. This was all day in 80+ degree temps. The small water bottles are the perfect size for little hands. So far I'm extremely happy with this purchase. My only negative is I wish they made a flip straw option for the lids.

Probably like many of you, I’ve been searching for the perfect water bottle for a couple of decades now. Every time I think I’ve found one, a glaring defect emerges. It leaks, it doesn’t hold enough, the opening is inconvenient, it’s too wide for the cup holder, etc. etc. etc. I began to think I was searching for a unicorn, something that doesn’t exist in my reality. And then Prime Day came along. I wasn’t planning to buy anything, but I browsed anyway. And there, among the rest, was the Simple Modern Summit water bottle. Eighteen bucks normally, and even cheaper on Prime Day? Eh, I’ll give it a go. The worst that could happen is that it’ll end up in the cupboard I call Graveyard of Disappointing Water Bottles, like all the rest. I chose the 22oz, which is the largest capacity that will still fit into my Toyota Corolla’s slightly-too-narrow cup holders. It’s actually a really good size, as it’s enough water for a few hours out and about, without being too heavy to carry comfortably in one hand. The double insulation is extremely effective: it’ll keep fridge-cold water cold for 24 hours in a car sitting in direct sun during a ridiculous heat wave. Maybe even longer, but I ended my test at the 24-hour mark, because let’s not get ridiculous. I also often have tea in it, which will stay hot—very hot—for many hours, including overnight. Be careful with hot beverages: I leave the lid off for ten or so minutes to let it cool enough that I won’t burn my tongue (again) before closing it up. I like the different lids that come with it, including the chug lid you can get from the company for only the cost of shipping. Unfortunately, there were no lid colors other than black available when I ordered, but whatever. I did get a bottle washer (I chose OXO’s water bottle washing kit, which is cheap and comes with three pieces for all the parts of the bottle), because it’s almost impossible to effectively clean it otherwise. The bottle body is NOT dishwasher safe, though the lids are. Okay, I’ve rambled long enough. In closing, I’ll say that, not only is this bottle The One, I appreciate it so much that I bought a second for myself in blue and recommended it to several people. All this, and I’ve only had it for less than a month! As always, I’ll update if my opinion changes, or it suddenly explodes on me. ~~~~~~Update after seven months~~~~~~ Amazon sent me an email about this review, so I thought I’d update my thoughts. I still use one or both of my bottles daily, and I’m still super happy with them. In fact, I was extolling the virtues of the bottles to a friend just yesterday. One of my chug lids broke, but I had a tendancy to hold it at its weakest point, so I’ll count that against both me and the lid. Other than that, everything is still great.

When reading the reviews, I was worried since people had A LOT of complaints about this bottle and its ability to compare to higher priced bottles (like a Hydroflask) in its quality and such. But, I’m glad I still decided to purchase this bottle becuase I LOVE it so far. Not only is it beautiful in the Blush color, but it also is amazing. The bottle comes with two lids (one chug and one snap coffee lid) and I chose to buy a third option separately (which was the straw lid, which I highly recommend) which I love. One of the things that attracted me to Hydroflask is that the bottles are versatile and have many lid options to fit many needs. Sadly, I am right for money and couldn’t justify $60+ on a water bottle. So finding this company and the fact that they do the same made me instantly intrigued! The bottle retains ice/cold temperature well. I filled it 3/4 with ice and filled it with refrigerated water. 24 hours later, only half of the ice melted and the water remained icy cold. I’m a stickler for my water being ice cold and hate when bottles can’t retain ice. People complained about this not being able to, but I see NO issues, especially if ice remains after 24 hours. It is leak-proof, leaches no metallic taste into the water, and comes in SO MANY color options. I only wish there was a way to purchase this bottle WITH the straw lid so that I didn’t have to buy it separately; but even with the added cost of the straw lid, this bottle is STILL much cheeper than a Hydroflask and is an amazing bottle. I’ve never owned a Hydroflask, so I can’t say how it compares, but I would imagine that they would compare almost identically!

Full five stars to this bottle it's just awesome..From long time I wanted a bottle for air travel ..which could keep water temperature same as it is...so that I could pack it my diaper bag and don't need to ask air hostess for hot water again and again for my sons formula in plane..I could just add cold water in it and ready for him.But hard to find .Finally I came across this bottle and I put it on test as I am traveling again soon..I put hot water in it at 6 in the evening and checked it at 12 in the morning so total after 18 hours !! I bought this bottle with my own money and I just trying help other moms, homemakers like me.

I bought a 32 oz bottle in Mint green for myself last week - and I LOVE IT. Let's start with some background info. I drink a ton of water and I prefer it ice cold. I have been on the lookout for a good stainless steel water bottle bc I want to reduce plastic waste, keep my drinks cold, and use it for a long time! 1. It's a perfect size. The only issue I have, is that it doesn't fit into ANY cup holders. But I'm dealing with it bc I need a large water bottle. I probably refill my 32 oz about 3-4 times a day. 2. I love the color! I am actually tempted to buy Emerald. (green is my favorite color!) and it's impossible to find anything cute in green, why?! It's an amazing color! ...I digress... 3. I chose this specifically for the chug lid - I prefer straws and this seemed a happy compromise. It works perfectly! 4. They have so many different sizes! When I received mine and immediately loved it, I bought my 3 year old daughter one in Blush. And it's adorable! The lid is easy for her to drink out of with minimal mess and she LOVES the color. :)

TLDR: These keep cold sh!t cold, and hot sh!t hot. An INEXPENSIVE, but not CHEAPER alternative to Hydroflask. I had been wanting a Hydroflask for over a year, especially after my sister came over touting the praises of her many Hydroflask bottles...but the price was always too expensive for me to justify buying one, especially with so many "comparable" options on Amazon. My first selling point was that they Simple Modern bottles at Target. This isn't just some company selling their own Stepford-hydroflasks on Amazon, the only difference being their unique logo. I have walked by the drinking bottle section enough times to notice and commit to memory how nice looking the Simple Modern bottles are. My second selling point was all the reviews that raved about this bottle. There is one in particular where the customer even took outside infrared temperatures in order to see how well "insulated" the bottle was. Which btw showed that the brand Glacier Point that I considered buying before this was incredibly inferior. I bought the 22 oz size in the color Grapefruit. While I have to refill it many times a day, it fits in my car cup holder. At 5 pm the day I received it, I filled it completely full with only ice. By 7 pm the next day The ice was still intact, and still took up about 50% of the height of my bottle I never finished this test because I drink over 2 liters of water every day and I was super excited to use this. I didn't want to wait another day as I was carrying open cups with me into the car to pick my kids up from school and run errands. Since buying this for myself, I have bought 2 more. One 18 oz for my 16 year old to take to school, and one 32 oz for the husband and I to share water when we go out for the day. MY ONE PIECE OF ADVICE TO CHECK YOUR BOTTLES TO MAKE SURE THAT AREN'T DAMAGED. The 18 oz bottle was damaged along the top inside of the bottle. It had pits all over the rim, and I was afraid to wash it because I didn't want the pits to get rusty so I sent it back. The replacement I received was absolutely perfect. The 32 oz bottle I received LOOKED USED. There were water spots inside of it, there was no plastic around the second cap, random plastic around the bottle (it usually comes in bubble wrap), and no Simple Modern papers on the inside. Gross Amazon, I'm not indirect kissing another Amazon customer. When you receive the bottle that you are going to buy because you are a smart cookie and want to save money with sacrificing quality, give yours a once over. Then use it happily because your cold sh!t stays cold, and your hot sh!t stays hot.

this is a pretty awesome bottle. I was recently surrounded by people with HydroFlasks, obsessing about them and bragging about their amazingness. So I went on amazon to find what I found this and this is worth it. I will happily bragg and laugh at the crowd of hydroflaskers who paid twice as much when these simple modern jugs are just as awesome. Now people complained that these don't keep water cold, those people must assume that when you combine ice with water it will turn the water into ice or something... because this kept water cold like crazy. Testimony: I packed for a summer trek to the Sequoias for the weekend and loaded my 32oz jug on Friday around 4pm with half ice and half water. I took a few sips before bed and the water was awesomely cool and I was very happy with that. Next morning was 80 degrees in the AM already when we got to the park at 8am, so much ice still in the jug, AND the water still tasted fresh and not metally which I hate about metal water jugs. I left my jug in the car because we have water packs and I thought it would be nice to come back to cool water after a bunch of hiking. We returned to our hot and stuffy car at 4pm (24 hours since I filled my jug with ice and water the day before btw), STILL ICEY COLD WATER!!!!!!! Seriously, not just cold water, but cold, refreshing water with a bunch of ice cubes still in it! Keep in mind, it was closed and sealed, so if you're drinking your water a lot (like I did the next day) your ice will melt faster because your not keeping the cold air in the bottle. But if (like the situation above) you need to pack some ice water for the next day because you don't know if you'll have access to ice, I have proof that ice lasted at least 24 hours in this container with water and a few times opening it.

So, I never really kept a waterbottle by my side wherever I went, and I drank about 12 Diet Cokes a day (plus coffee). One month into ownership (this should be a verified-purchase review), I'm about to buy another duplicate, because I like it that much and don't see how any other brand (even if it's based in Austin and has cool stickers for the back of your XTerra/Pickup/Jeep) can top this. Since I've (for the fourth time in my life) started a huge weightloss/exercise program, I've figured out that plain salt tablets aren't enough, and Diet Coke doesn't do a great job of hydrating (and is expensive). I got some better electrolyte tablets, and the 22oz version of this bottle. It's changing how I do things, seriously. I have 1 Diet Coke about every two days now, usually from a fountain at the lunch spot du jour, and I don't think I miss them. I carry this thing everywhere, and drink a few long sips every so often, and I do not suffer from 'Keto Flu'. (I'm so old I didn't know what I'd been doing for a diet-with-exercise is called 'Keto'. I thought it was 'eat less carbs and exercise' :)) The bottle is well-made. Not sure why you'd powdercoat it other than for aesthetics. It keeps, with only a few of my freezer's auto-icemaker cubes (about three), cold for the three hours before I drink all the contents and refill. When I refill with ice/RO water at work, the small cubes there sound magical as they slosh/slide in the inner bottle. Occaisionally, as I walk with it (I carry it by the built-in ring on the 'hot sippy lid') it'll bang against my cellphone in my front pants pocket, and make an amusing vibrating 'gong' sound. Mixed with ice, it's kinda fun. I have no idea if your experience with it will be like mine, but I've loved mine, and am, when I finish typing, going to buy another.

Normally, I'd wait a bit before posting a review on a product. To start, I was not compensated in any way like many other reviewers, although it would be nice to be in their shoes once in a while. We all know whats included, the bottle with attached screw on sealed lid as well as a second with an opening to sip from. The bottle does not fit in the cup holders in my vehicle, but I knew this going in. I did flip it upside down and it held pretty well in the cup holder this way, but I don't see myself doing this often. I received this bottle just about 2 and a half days ago and immediately put it to the test. I haven't even washed it out or actually used it to drink from yet, but it has proven itself in the one test that really mattered, holding its temperature. Time will tell on durability, but initially this 32oz bottle impressed me. After removing the bottle from the plastic and briefly inspecting it for any issues, of which there were none, I filled it to the top with only ice and sealed it shut. Without opening it, I checked it the next morning and it sounded like a solid mass of ice inside. I went to work and returned home that evening to find that only a slight bit of water could be heard inside, with a substantial block of ice remaining with it. Over 24 hours down and I'm happy with that as it is, but of course, I wanted to see how far it would go. I checked the next morning, about 36 hours since sealing it up and much of the ice could still be heard rattling around. After returning home on the second night, there was still ice heard inside. I couldn't resist and decided to open it up to see what was left. A small chunk of ice was there to greet me, 52 hours after going in. Even when this ice melts away, the water inside is still quite cold and would definitely remain this way for a while longer. I plan on doing temperature tests on this, as well as the hot liquid performance soon. I will update the review with any positives or negatives that I find as time goes on. I could have bought 5-6 of these for the price of a single one of my co-workers Yeti's and the performance is probably better with the Simple Modern. Update 1: The melted ice water is still cold after 78 hours. Added a temperature picture. Update 2: Hot liquids hold temperature just as well, although I admit I didn't put coffee in it for days at a time or have a thermometer on hand at work. However, coffee was as hot as it went in at the end of a 12 hour workday. This bottle does its job and does it well. Whether hot or cold, the outside stays comfortable to hold.
