Great little pump - - surprisingly powerful for its size. Auto-shutoff feature is nice. Would make a good holiday gift.
I was recently in one of those situations you hope won't happen - - I was driving on a back country road on a rainy, moonless night, pitch black and chilly, when the car tire pressure monitor indicated a rapidly deflating tire. I pulled off onto the shoulder and found a big screw in a rear tire. I had an untested EPAuto pump in the trunk, brand new, and a plugging kit. I decided plugging would be an easier operation than putting on a spare. Within a few minutes, the plug was in place. Then I unpacked the pump. I was quite impressed by the power this quiet, tiny pump had compared to the one it had replaced. I was truly relieved when my sedan's tire reached and held 32 psi in about 6-7 minutes. The auto shutoff worked perfectly when the pressure limit was reached. I was headed for home in much less time than I'd expected, happy that I didn't have to call AAA or wait for another vehicle to appear. I can't speak for durability yet, but I can say that this is a great little unit. It didn't even get hot during a full tire inflation. Would make a great gift for someone who does not carry a pump in their emergency kit. I do agree with another reviewer that the manufacturer should consider lengthening the power cord, the air hose, or both. If my car didn't have a rear power outlet, I'd have been out of luck. My last pump, a Slime model, had an extra-long coiled air hose that easily reached every tire.

AWESOME! Would definitely buy again! Used for my boat trailer.
This is the best air pump I've ever owned! My family has always kept air pumps in case of emergency. My last one I got on discount at a store and it was terrible. This pump is great! I bought it for my boat trailer. It pumped up the tires, with my heavy boat on the trailer, and worked great! I love that you can set it to the correct PSI and then just walk away. Great buy!

Small, light, fast, quiet, but valve connector is screw-on
I used this pump with an AC to 12VDC converter, which I'll link below. This pump is light, runs smoothly and much more quietly than my old pump. It also fills tires MUCH faster than my old pump. It has an inline fuse and comes with a replacement, and a few adapters. It has a velcro strap for the power cord and integrated clamps for the air hose. The pressure display is bright and easy to read, and can be set to display several different pressure measurements. The auto-off feature works great, I noted that it doesn't shut off as soon as it reaches target pressure but probably adds about 1/4 PSI beyond that, which when you consider the valve connector on this makes good sense. About the valve connector. This is a screw-on type which I'm not very fond of because when you remove it you're guaranteed to loose some pressure. I found that if you fiddle with it enough on removal you can greatly reduce the amount of pressure loss, but you're still going to loose about 1PSI no matter what you do, so it's best to overfill a little. I always double-check the pressure using a separate gauge, and I found that the pump gauge was off from 1 - 1.5 PSI from my hand gauge. This isn't a surprise since with these digital meters the highest resolution is 0.5 PSI. It is consistent though, so if you trust your gauge more then you can easily compensate for the difference. I can't fault the device because any digital pressure device with this kind of measurement increment is bound to be a little off. Overall I'm very happy with this pump as opposed to my old one. This one is lighter, smaller, quieter, faster, and the gauge is easier to read. Plus I love the auto-stop feature. This device requires a 15amp draw and I'm using it with this AC-to-DC power supply: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0196DXEBI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

five star
I'm a car guy and have dozens of these things. I tend to review stuff I really love or really suck. This I like! It's heavier than average and feels quality, quieter than most pumps - almost too quiet, as I can't tell its done, love the auto pressure button! I can work on other parts of the car while the tires are inflating. It will stop on your pre-selected PSI. cord wraps up neater than most others and has quick connect clips to keep them snug! Comes with a handy storage bag. (I think I heard someone complain about the quality of the bag) - it is more than adequate and most importantly fits easily. It has a nifty carry handle on top. cord length good, light is a handy feature, easy to read display. Controls are intuitive and your pre-set tire pressure stays as default til u change it. Very little noise and vibration when operating way better than average. Pump time is about average. One new feature for me is the screw on attachment to valve. I was skeptical about this, but at the same time wanted to give it a try. As suspected you can loose 1/2 to 1 psi when disconnecting it. I just add 1 psi to selector - it is still quick and easy to connect and disconnect. I paid full price for this pump. 5 star.

Great little portable air compressor
I had a portable plastic compressor from harbor freight for years that just bit the dust. I used this one for the first time tonight, and wow. This is a great little device. The digital gauge works well, it's easy to set the pressure you want and easy to read, and the machine cuts off automatically when it reaches that pressure. The hose screws rather than clamps onto your tire stem, which at first seems weird, but it works fine. The flashlight comes on automatically when you plug it into your cigarette lighter, even before you turn the switch on. Compared to my last portable air compressor, this one is quieter, but it does dance and spin on the ground while it is working. It works FAST, though. And I don't have to keep disconnecting it to check my tire pressure. The materials are heavy and solid, even the plastic parts, and it has a handle on top to carry (they get hot while using). There are notches around the edges to secure the hose. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out an elegant way to store the power cord yet, although it does come with a velcro tie. The storage bag is sharp looking and nicely made. Unfortunately, I had a hard time getting mine inside. I maybe just need to coil the cord differently, but I just about gave up after a few sweaty minutes. So, my advice to the manufacturer is, make the bag a tad bigger and maybe provide an intuitive way to store the power cord. This does come with extra attachments for bicycle tires, etc. And a printed user pamphlet. I stored these in the bag, too. Happy with this purchase!

Can't over-inflate these ratings
Ha! I love this little guy. When I say "little guy", I mean that affectionately. I've had a portable tire inflator since, well, I can't remember when, but it's been at least three cars. It was measurably bigger than this one and not nearly as impressive. I'm a big fan of avoiding gas stations for keeping my tires inflated. Beyond the awkwardness of the pumps, their effectiveness is sometimes sketchy. Now, with today's tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), you get the reminder if you've gone too long without checking and what more perfect and convenient time to refill tires than on a rested and cool car outside your own front door. This does everything you would ask of a portable inflator: it's fast, it's efficient and it's quiet. My old inflator sounded as if I was tearing up my driveway when I used it and it probably took twice as long to work. I saw some questions about the potential lost air while detaching the connecting hose and it seems like the pump may run a little over the stated PSI as protection for that situation. The automatic shut-off when it reaches the pressure you set is a huge boon, as I can rumble around in the trunk or work inside the car without having to constantly monitor the pump. I can't say much about the carrying bag, it's a silly little thing that's likely to tear over time, but that's meaningless when talking about performance and value. If I had any quibble at all, it would be that I don't seem to be able to shut off the light on the pump. It's not a big deal from a power perspective, just an OCD thing (why have it on in the daytime?). This is a great purchase at a terrific price.

No More Quarters!
This a really compact little guy but he does the job really well and with the minimum of fuss. The screw on adapter connects easily and well and the cables are plenty long enough to reach, through the front doors, to all wheels on my full-sized sedan and also to connect from the compressor on the ground to all points on the wheel. It connects via a cigarette lighter adapter and is not as loud as other compressors I've heard (just make sure your engine is running, whilst using the compressor, to avoid draining your battery). Once connected to the tire valve, the compressor will register existing pressure and then turning the thing on will begin inflation and register the changing pressure. It stores away nicely and is easy to carry in the trunk. My only complaint is that the bag provided is a wee bit small and shoe-horning the compressor back in to it can be the longest, and most frustrating, part of using it.

As bad luck would have it
I bought this portable air compressor to replace my old one with a broken power cord. As bad luck would have it, within a week, I had an unexpected tire leak with a low tire pressure indication. I was parked at a remote parking location at an airport, so I was relieved to have my new air compressor with me. The new technology of this air compressor compared to my old one was noticeable. It operates noticeably quieter than my old compressor but it was much more powerful, filling my tire from a low 20psi to normal 35psi in less than 2 minutes. I was able to leave the remote parking lot safely and make the short drive to get my leaky tire fixed properly. It's a wonderful piece of emergency equipment to have in your trunk. Because it works so efficiently, I'll probably use it for my routine tire fill ups instead of paying to use the inconvenient compressors at gas stations.

Must have item for any car
I was skeptical of a 12V tire inflator, having an air compressor in my garage (used for tire inflation and pneumatic tools) and noting how loud it is, and how much power it takes. But, when I had a flat and another person used his 12 V tire inflator to temporarily inflate the tire to drive my car home, I became convinced this could work. I bought this and tried it on my tire. Connecting air hose required only a few turns from when air started to hiss to quiet good seal (I saw some reviews complaining about this), so this was no issue for me, both when attaching and detaching. Immediately upon hooking air hose, tire pressure showed at steady 27.2 psi. I could then set pressure to 32 psi using +/- buttons the turned on compressor, and it automaticall filled up air to 32 psi in a few minutes then stopped, showing actual pressure in real time, and pressure reading did not fluctuate at any time. This was so much better than using a stand alone air compressor then filling air and checking pressure using gauge and repeating it several times to get the pressure right. Based on reviews, I was also concerned about thread wear but it took only a few turns to make air hose air tight, so, as long as one does not over tighten it, I think the fittings should last for a long time. This items is a must have item for any car. It will save many trips to gas stations to fill up air or check air, or having to use full sized air compressor to fill up tires at home. Last, but not in the last, most flats from nails or staples have slow leaks, allowing hours of driving, and this tire inflator will allow one to drive home or to a gas station or a garage to get it fixed, without having to swap tire to a spare on road shoulder, get the flat fixed, then swap the spare out, saving one a lot of effot and time. Definitely worthwhile product to have!

Really Good Air Pump that would save you time and effort.
I should have bought this pump long ago and that would save me so much time and effort. I check my tire pressure regularly and I normally do it at home instead of in the gas stations. I have two air pumps already but I misplaced one. The other one is one that came with my NSX NA1 which is used to inflate a small deflected mini spare. It is a very small unit. I have been using this little air pump since I could not locate my other one. I have multiple cars and I am tired of unpacking and packing this air pump in and out of the tiny storage in the trunk. The pump gets hot after using so I have to wait till it has cooled down before I could pack it back in that space. I gave up looking for my other pump so I looked for a tire pump in Amazon. Of course, I read the reviews and picked one with as much reviews and stars as possible. This is indeed a good move. I have various tire pressure gages because I have a Motorcycle with the valve stem difficult to check correctly. My other pumps do not have this auto stop feature. That means that I have to guess how much air pressure that I am pumping into the tires and disconnect the air pump. Then I check the tire pressure with an air pressure gage. It the air pressure is not enough, I have to pump some more and checked again. If the air pressure is too much, I need to let some air out and recheck it. This is such a time-consuming process. With this new pump, I just set the desired air pressure and turn it on. The pump would just stopped at the set pressure. The first time I used it, I watch the gage like a hawk. The air pump would reach the set pressure and kept pumping for a few seconds before it stopped. On the fourth tire, it stopped half a psi over the set pressure. I just unscrew the hose fitting and let out a little air. The beauty of this air pump is that the built-in digital air pressure gage would display air pressure as long as it is connected. I do not even need an air pressure gage. The other pump that I could not locate also has an air pressure gage but it is an analog one which is useless as the pointer would be bouncing all over the place when the pump is operating. The reason that the pointer would bounce is that the air pump itself is bouncing up and down. This EPAuto Air Compressor Pump does not bounce. It sits on four rubber feet and runs rather smooth. There is much less noise than my other pumps. There is a light on the pump which is a nice touch. This could be used as a flash light as long as it is plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. Due to the in-line digital air pressure gage, I can plug in the air pressure pump and check my tire pressure. The readout is easy to read. This air pump could eliminate the need of a separate air pressure gage and a flash light. There are a couple of things that could be improved. The pump itself is fine. The storage bag could be a little bigger and there should be a small accessory pocket within the storage bag. These small accessories could be easily misplaced. I was going to put them in a small pouch but I already misplaced them. I do have to look for them at a later date as there is a spare fuse in there.
