Well Built Polisher; Seems to Work Well

The product comes complete with three polishing heads of varying hardness and some assorted screws and tools useful for installing the handle and head. It has significant weight in the hand and seems to be hardy, though the entire body is plastic. Installing the handle was straightforward, but did require some strength to fit it over the body and lock on to the teeth. It should be noted, nowever, that this item comes with no documentation of any kind. Not too much of an issue, but it definitely requires the user already understand its operation and use. While running the polisher makes a rather unpleasant grinding noise, particularly at low to medium speed. That said, it performed admirably at spiffing up the paint job on a 72 Chevelle. The sheen and shine (when used with a proper compound, of course) took decades of dull oxidation away. It did make any scratches and knicks more obvious in the glare of light, but that is to be expected. If you plan on using this item often, or on multiple vehicles, I would greatly recommend purchasing additional polishing heads to avoid mixing colors (as the paint color soaks deeply into the head ). I also cannot speak to the longevity of this device as I've only just bought it. Here's hoping to a long life with proper care (though one has to wonder at the trade off for the lower price tag). Overall, for the money and target market (the at-home do-it-yourselfer), I'd say this is a fairly good investment for anyone wanting to add a little extra pep to an old paint job.

Buff and Polish

I got this to address all of the scratches and dings that idiots in parking lots leave on my car. Why are people so self-centered? This polisher does the job. So far I've buffed out scratches and waxed my car. I am very pleased with this. Low noise, easy to handle, and has a decent length of power cable.

Quality DA Polisher and great price!

Great quality and performance from this polisher. Looked at many others, read the reviews and chose this one based on ALL the positive reviews. Happy I did! Excellent build quality, good assortment of pads and an extra set of brushes for the motor. Performance wise, is does what it's intended to do and does it well. A little heavy but that just means it's not made with inferior parts. Great product and price to match! Works extremely well.

Does the job well

So far I’ve used it about 20 hours buffing my heavily oxidized RV. It does a great job. I started with the supplied flat foam pad. For it to work properly you must keep it flat against the surface, with light pressure. Apply pressure and it doesn’t work as well. I just got some 8” TCP Global foam pads that are slightly rounded. Boy, did they work well. I could apply more pressure and the buffer maintained both the circular and orbital motions and was much more effective. The buffer itself seems well built, and is much lighter than a standard rotary buffer. And it did remove the oxidation fast without any damage to the surface.

Just my 2 cents on this DA buffer, I am a novice detailer, after reviews took the plunge and made the purchase. I have to say it performs as described, by adjusting the right speed, it will take out surface scratch, in perfection, spider webs, and leave a mirror glass image. Using a combination of the Sonax Perfect Finish, setting between 5-6 yellow pad, it Will take out the surface scratch with ease. Then follow up with Chemical guys Black Light (Black Metallic Paint) using the softer Black Pad, at setting 1-2, leave on for 15 minutes to adhere. Then buff out, wettest finish of seen on my Rogue. Highly recommend A+++++

Decent polisher

Decent polisher, the higher setting is pretty powerful, you have to get used to it. It slips off a lot at the beginning, you will have to feel for it.
