I had never used Mica before but was interested in trying some in my wax melts. This assortment is a great way to try several colors without wasting a large bottle if you don't care for it. There are several colors to choose from and each bottle contains a generous amount in them. I'm not disappointed. I would purchase again.

Mica Powder for Epoxy

I used this product for silicone molds and coloring epoxy. This product was the first Mica powder I have ever used so I do not have anything to compare to. However, I did find that it colored the epoxy nicely and used very little to color the amount of epoxy that I used. It did not clump up etc. When coloring the silicone mold first it colored well but it seemed like it did not but when the mold was released it looked great. I especially liked the bright cheerful colors AND they came in containers and not bags like a lot of Micas I have seen. Would purchase again, especially for the price.

A little goes a long ways.

I have made metallic water colors, rub and buff, and metallic inks with these and the resulting products are beautiful. A small amount goes a long ways, and the containers are not the little bitty ones I was buying when I was adding mica to my home made soap. They do settle when they set but I have no difficulty believing they were filled to the top when they were bottled. I am very happy with these and I will be buying them again.

These powders are great but one bottle cover had come loose by the time I got the package and the whole packet was full of blue dust. I washed the bottles down and used the powders and they are great. We make soap with these so the soap has a slight pearly effect which is lovely.
