Connecting Threads makes a really good and economical cotton quilting thread. I use this for piecing and quilting. It doesn't leave as lint as King Tut and works well in the bobbin if you choose to match top and bottom thread. The colors are vibrant and the selection is wonderful. I've purchased many rolls of this thread both from Amazon and the Connecting Threads website. Amazon shipping is a LOT faster but the pricing is comparable unless CT has a sale. I belong to a quilt guild where members use all brands of sewing machines and this thread seems to work equally well in all of them. Many of our members also have Handi Quilter long arms and are happy to use this thread (in the larger spools) as well.

So far so good! I purchased these for use in my Brother PE770 (embroidery machine) specifically to create lace masks. During the complete stitch out (2 halves) I only had 1 thread breakage and a small amount of 'lint' (and the breakage may have been an improperly wound bobbin.. the thread in it was a bit loose). The spools are quite nice, fit in the machine easily and I think I actually prefer this spool style from others I have been using. The thread itself stitches smoothly and I look forward to dying the white at a later date. I would like a black and white pack (without grays) - but am happy with this thread enough that it has gone to my 'shopping list' for down the road when I need to replace it.

Very good quality and extremely good price. I typically use Aurifill thread but my mom, a seasoned quilter, said Connecting Thread thread is very good. I'll buy more sets for sure!

I've never bought real quality threads since I started making my zipper pouches for sale. I bought the cheap 40 color sets of threads for US$20 and while I could see the fuzz balls in my machine, I didn't think any more of it. Then I decided it was time to "invest" in good thread and looked at the Aurifil brand but it was a little too rich for my pocket. Then I saw a review saying this brand was just as good and I must say, at first glance I could see the difference between my former cheapie threads. No more cheap threads of me! Will be buying the other colors a set at a time as funds allow.

I HAVE PURCHASED 5 SETS OF THE CONNECTING THREAD SETS AND I LOVE THE VARIETY OF COLORS. THE THREAD SEWS WELL ON MY BERNINA SEWING MACHINE. I HAVE A SMALL CRAFT BUSINESS CREATING QUILTED PROJECTS AND I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO FIND THE EXACT COLORS I NEED. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT. THE SPOOLS COME FULL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I have expensive machines and cannot use cheap threads that have excessive lint, so I usually use Sulky or Madeira. These threads are of excellent quality! Since I was doing costumes for a musical, I knew we would be going through a lot of thread so I ordered these. They are low lint, and you get a lot for what you pay for! By the way, I learned that grey threads are a good neutral color and can be used with almost any color fabric :o) I hope this company stays around for awhile because I am coming back for more!

I'm a quilt artist and sell my art quilts for top dollar... I'm a diehard Aurifil thread user because of the quality, but a friend recommended these to use instead for my regular quilts mostly for cost savings. I have to say I am very pleased to far. Then I tried it for my art quilts. It did take a little adjusting of my machine and testing to get it perfect as it's a 3 ply instead of a 2 ply, but I got it. And bonus, it shows up a lot nicer being just a hair thicker. I do a LOT of thread painting and sketching along with quilting so thread color and quality is very high on my list. This thread is right up there! And for the price, it is a deal! Will still use a finer thread in my bobbin, (I use a 60wt normally or a 2 ply 50wt), as it just works better for thread painting, but this works very well for quilting and other sewing in the bobbin too.. I will absolutely be buying more of this. I bought two of the color ways and will be getting them all so I have any color I need. Also, one of the spools had a lot of fuz on it which made it shred at the needle eye and break. I wrote them more as an FYI as I know this is from a manufacturing process, and Connecting Threads replaced it ASAP. WOW! Nice service guys!!!

I use this brand of thread in all of my sewing and quilting. It is a good deal, high quality and never breaks on me. Beware of people who say another more expensive brand is better, they get free product or even money to be 'influencers'. I sew all day, every day with this thread and I can tell you some other brands may be 'as good' but nothing is better and this has a fairer price so I will always buy and use it proudly.

This thread is awesome. I am a new free-motion quilter. I have made three quilts. On the first quilt I used polyester (practice quilt for myself), which I did not like the look of, so on the second I decided to use cotton. I purchased a very well know, very expensive, cotton thread and was astounded at the amount of lint, it truly was overwhelming. I was coughing and sneezing and I had to clean out my machine multiple times. I then made a third quilt and I used Connecting Threads cotton thread on my third quilt. Very little lint which made me very happy, because I like the look of the cotton thread much more than that of the polyester. This is great thread.

I have been using Connecting Threads 100% cotton thread for my quilting needs. I use it for piecing as well as top stitching. It’s a good quality thread that works great in my sewing machine and looks and fells great in my projects. I want to thank Connecting Threads for offering their product for sale on Amazon. I have purchase direct from Connecting Threads before and would have spent exactly $1.16 less on this 5 pack of thread if I purchased from their web site, but their shipping Isn’t as fast as Amazon Prime shipping and isn’t free unless your order is over $65.00. After the $4.99 shipping I would have actually spent more and had to wait. And of course, 10 days before Christmas I look up as I’m sewing away, trying to finish up some gifts, and sure enough I’m going to run out of thread!! I ordered this on Saturday at about 10:30 am and had it on Sunday!! Oh thank you Connecting Threads and Amazon! You bailed me out again.
