This triple pack of night lights works so well. The light is activated when you pass by and stays on for 20 seconds after motion has stopped. The light does not glare nor is it too bright. Sticking out from the wall 1/2" it is unobstructed. You have the option of On/Off/Auto. When in Auto you can adjust the brightness of the light. The design is so simple I feel this must last a long time and without batteries, it cost very little. In fact, at about $5 a light I have one in each bedroom and bath.

Great lights. One of them was DOA so I messaged Vintar. The light was strobing and acting weird. They instantly refunded the difference of one broken light. Can’t ask for much more than that...

There are places for such lights that only detect ambient light, or motion - but these that do BOTH are fantastic! It's always annoyed me to have a motion-detection night light come on in broad daylight. Not that LEDs will consume much power - but it's still waste. Others perception may vary but to me these go active at pretty much the light level where I'd ideally want them to. The range of motion detection is good, and it seems to only "see" for a fairly small angle up-down - so when plugged into an outlet near the floor across the room, rolling over in bed didn't set it off. Also - I appreciate that these are fairly flat and thus don't project out from the wall very far; that's especially important in busy areas where they might get bumped. The design is simple and clean - if not "decorative" at least it's not going to clash with something else. The AC plug is near one edge so it can be positioned to either block or not the second outlet. (While this isn't a safety cover, it might be useful in some cases to obstruct the second outlet.) Obviously I can't say anything about durability yet, but presuming decent quality LEDs run at a reasonable level, these should last a long time. The dimming seems quite smooth and goes all the way down to what at least appears to me to be completely off. I haven't done any kind of special testing, but I haven't noticed any "strobe" effect, which can happen with cheap LED driver circuits running from AC power - nor any strobing when the LEDs are dimmed, which happens with PWM dimming done at too low a frequency. The light is a pleasant, well-diffused slightly warm white.

Don't want to trip on the dog or the vacuum cleaner as you go down the hall at night? These plug-in LED lights will help. The lights are a warm color (2700 degrees), with a slider to control the brightness. They have a 3-way switch: off, on and "auto". In "auto", the light goes on if it is sufficiently dark and motion is detected. This is a plug-in device, so you don't need batteries. They are less than $7 each, a miracle of modern gallium nitride technology.

This product is great. It is quite bright and I used it to replace some older night-lights that I had used for several years. It works as expected - only operates when it is dark in the room - and the motion sensor works well. You can set the brightness using a glider control which is a very nice feature. There is also a switch for ON/OFF/AUTO where on is constantly ON; OFF is self explanatory, and AUTO is motion detector. Both the controls are on the edge. It does not block the other side of the outlet. Some of my older models block the other outlet at least partially (so you can plug in a cord, but nothing like a cell phone charging block). These kind of lights are great to avoid turning on bright lights if you get up at night and plan to go back to sleep. Also for the entry door to an apartment they give you enough light to get into the main room, without turning on lights that you will then need to turn off.

Why five stars? I tried other night lights, but they were all too bright for my light-sensitive spouse and many didn't work as advertised. This one works as advertised with adjustable brightness that really is very dim to very bright. The light sensor and motion detector work reliability. I bought one to see if it worked as described. It exceeded my expectations so much that I ordered three more that all work perfectly. I checked the reviews before I ordered; my experience has been worthy of all five stars and could not differ more than the lower ratings. Try this one rather than the others. It really is as good as described.

This is exactly what I have been looking for in a nightlight! Keys are outlet plug-in (no batteries), great motion detection, amount of light given off is adjustable (lower in bathroom at night so as not to wake you up, but enough to get to where you are going), stays on for a short amount of time once you are no longer detected with movement, a great price and won't turn on if enough ambient light is already on. I have several in different rooms so I can walk throughout the house without bumping into everything!

My husband has a disability and is always in danger of falling, especially in the dark but I hate wasting energy by leaving ights on at night. I've used stick on, battery operated lights before, but they either broke or the battery ran out too quickly. so I decided to try these plug-ins. My only problem with these excellent motion sensor nightlights is that I can't put them everywhere since I don't have enough exposed outlets. As soon as I tried them, I wanted to order more for every room, but I don't have an outlet in my hallway and my living room outlets are behind sofas and other furniture. At least I found three great locations:)

These motion sensor nightlights are PERFECT to keep us from tripping over our small, black, "velcro" rescue dog who insists on getting as close as possible to us (aka our feet) at night when we get up to make a bathroom trip. Black dog, dark room, dark wood floors, small dog hugging our feet with every step- you get the picture. These lights are ADJUSTABLE - so the ones right by our bed, we keep quite dim in case we trigger them or she does when not needed and adjusted the others to brighter. These are great. Probably saved her from becoming a flattened dog pancake and us from needing hip traction.

Love the dimming feature!! Perfect for me to walk around the house carrying my 5 week baby, without her waking up.
