Grandson loves this learning toy

I was surprised at how this learning toy was made. It seems so far to be standing up to a 3 yr old, and on top of that he likes it. It has multiple ways of learning and the scale actually balances between the monkeys and the numbers. I would be careful with a child that everything goes in their mouths since the monkeys are kinda small. Not tiny but could cause a issue if not paying attention.

Excellent math game

I love everything about this game. I got it for my 5 year old, but even my 11, 9, and 2 year olds love playing with it. The quality of each piece is made very well. I love the make of the monkeys and the numbers. It was a really well thought out game. My 5 year old will sit and play with it on his own coming up with new number combinations. It’s really amazing.

Great for learning to count

My 2-year-old loves playing with the monkeys, and it has definitely helped introduce the idea of counting and number recognition. Can't wait to continue using this for learning basic addition and subtraction!

Great buy

The first item I recite was defective so I contacted the seller. Got a response and they were so nice to send me a new one. I’ve had this toy for more than 2 months now and it’s really durable. The only thing that is not so durable are the cards. They are flimsy and will easily rip in the hands of young kids. That being said the actually toy, the scale, the tiny monkeys and numbers are durable. I work with children who have intellectual disabilities and help with their behaviors. Some of these behaviors include hitting, hitting things around them. So this little monkey toy has experienced its fair share of throws and bangs across the room. It has not broken and it’s been great to have to buy a new one.

Fun and useful for a range of skills!

We bought this for my 3 year old who enjoys counting and putting the number of monkeys on the scale to balance with the weighted number. It works great! It's also a nice introduction to math and weights. Eventually we plan to do the math (addition and subtraction) as shown on the cards provided. We also love to play "10 little monkeys" while singing the song with it (another good counting game).

Fun Math Toy

I purchased this for my preschool class. The kids really enjoy it and there are so many ways to play with it. When teaching it is important to have things that can apply to many different learning abilities and styles. This game allows children to learn no matter where they are at with their early math skills. Fabulous.

Loved it, great to teach different concepts

Loved how each number weighed differently so you would put monkeys on the other side of the scale and won’t be equal until the correct number is placed, I lives this feature

Inspires creative exploration

I used this monkey balance for number exploration with 5 to 7 year olds. The weighted numbers are perfect for the children to relate the number and amount. They also were finding sets inside numbers and seeing relationships (6 is 4 and 2). I love how the weighted numbers make it easy to extend to addition and subtraction. I only wish there were more monkeys and numbers so we could explore doubles and numbers beyond 19. As it is, I will need to get a few more sets so kids asking questions can explore those ideas. It'd be nice if I was able to order monkeys and numbers separate to grow with children's ideas. The children enjoy the game cards as well and are creating their own. Thanks for a well-designed and thoughtful product.

Fun for both the kid and the adults!

I gave this to my boyfriend's son as a 5th Birthday gift. He is an only child who loves to play with numbers. What I like most about this toy is that he doesn't need another person to play with him but the adults enjoy it too so either way he's having fun. Numbers are sturdy and weighted accordingly so adding them up on the scale and either using the number that is the sum (1 + 2 on left = 3 on right) or just balancing them with the monkeys is very satisfying.

wonderful game

Bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter. She LOVES it! It is an awesome tool to learn math skills and have fun doing it!
