Nice for young and old. The color variety is good and for the price has all the colors I need to draw and make art on blank note cards for special occasions.

Very nice, durable, great colors!

I love these markers. The dual tip allows you many options. The thicker calligraphy side is really cool how it works. I definitely need practice. Calligraphy is not something that happens over night, but with the use of these markers, it will definitely be more fun and less hassle. Great purchase.

Nice set

I mainly use these pens for adult coloring books.I have used many pen sets before and these are one of the good ones.Colors are bright and the fine tip allows to fill in intricate details.So far no cons found in this set...in case of any, I will update my review

stay steady while writing

I really like how smooth they write. I've never had pens that didn't drag when writing, but with these there is no drag at all. It is important when doing calligraphy that the equipment always writes smoothly and evenly. These are by far the best I have had. The only negative point would be the fact I keep getting the ink on my fingers and hands and I don't know I'm doing it. But I'll put up with this little problem due to how well these work.

Great set for a super price!

I bought these for my 29 year old daughter's Birthday, and she absolutely loves them! She is a gifted artist and works in several different mediums, and she says they are of exceptional quality. Even though she is not a beginner, all art supplies eventually need "refilling", and she says these are of a higher quality than many of the sets she's had in the past. She said the coIors in the set are a good variety, and the ink flows smoothly and evenly. I was also impressed when the set came, it was from the today's deals section and the sale price was an added bonus! We both highy recommend this set to other shoppers, whether you are a beginner or advanced. I plan to buy them in the future too, Christmas isn't all that far away!

Vivid, concentrated color

I already had the 36 pack, and I love them. I bought the 18 pack to stock up because I got a good deal on them. Now I'm sure I won't run out of the basics for a very long time. They're great. Nice vivid color, very concentrated. They are easy to hold, and I like the convenience of the case to keep them neatly stored. Good, fresh markers. Make sure to use a blotting page under your work ( that's my mantra).

Strong, bold, dark, wet, permanent color

I was expecting more of a thin, light, dry highlighter kind of feel, but these are quite wet and bold. The darker colors really cover up text. I'm not complaining, as the lines are really full of color. They look like they have nice, big dye compartments and are so wet upon first use, that I think they will last a long time. As a gift, and if using the soft clear vinyl case for storage, be aware that the pens all bunch up to one side. They also have a triangular nature to the cap, with is interesting.
