• Unlike competitors, Our Heavy Duty Tire Chains is made of thicker cross chain and thicker side chain and fasteners. In the past we only offered heavy duty, but our competitors were selling medium duty at lower price than our heavy duty chains. So, we began to offer a medium duty to compete with their lessor chain. Tire Chain is not commodities. There are different qualities and specs which are difficult for the customer to be able to differentiate between
  • V Bar Chains are V-bar are helpful on hill, ice and hard packed conditions. They are not recommended on pavement since they can damage the surface it the tires begin to spin.
  • For 2 link chains, cross chains occur every other side chain link giving consistent ride with less grip-slip like a 4 link chain.
  • For easier installation of two and four link chains see our Sno-Chain Ramps . Tensioner is recommended for maximum life and performance of chains.
  • Spring Tensioner Included, to ensure maximum life and performance of your tire chains, tire chains must be installed as tight as possible.

I purchased these chains for a 28" 2-stage snowblower. The machine is powerful but had a tendency to slip up steep inclines making it a lot of work to get back uphill. I deflated the tires, put the chains on snuggly, reinflated the tires , and now the machine climbs uphill as if it's running on flat terrain. I use the machine up in the Wasatch mountains where we get lots of snow. In just the few months I've had these chains I've been able to cut a 6 foot deep, 5 foot wide sled run without any traction problems. The only issue I ran into was the improved traction drives my snowblower faster so now I have to run it slower to prevent it bogging down in deep snow. Not a bad issue to have. The chains were delivered ahead of schedule so that was just icing on the cake.

The top part of my driveway is very steep and snowblower couldn't make it up wheels spinning. Now the thing drags me up the dirveway and I hold on for the ride. These should come standard with every snowblower.

Put these on an Arena 30" snowblower, they fit the wheel, stayed on and improved traction just as advertised.
