I teach 6 classes. This is perfect for fitting my daily folders for each class and providing a couple of shelves to store extra things for easy access. Lightweight, but sturdy.

Very Good Sturdy Working Files Holder

The AmazonBasics Mesh Wall File is a very useful holder for our current letter-size working files. The black metal mesh is reinforced by contoured edges on the ends and top of the file holder producing a sturdy basket. A metal strip (with 2 key holes) provides a sturdy wall hanging support for the unit. Two screws with plastic hole plugs are included. I attached the holder to the wall near our desk, convenient for storing 6 of our working manila folders (e.g., receipts, tax info, correspondence). The dimensions of the holder are: 11 3/8 inches wide at the base 14 inches wide at the top 6 ¼ inches tall at the front with a half circle dip (about 1 inch radius) 8 ¼ inches tall at the back 2 inches thick at the base 3 ¼ inches thick at the top The unit is about 1 pound in weight because of the rigid metal construction. This is a very helpful addition to our working space allowing us to organize and prioritize working document files. You would think that in this computer dominating era there would be no paper records needed, but we always seem to need hard copies.

quality for the price

These are pretty sturdy and the right size for my desk. I was afraid they would be flimsy but they hold up really well and are better than some you find at office stores for twice the price.

Excellent Organizer, Built to Last!

The AmazonBasics Mesh Six Slot File Organizer with Double Tray is sturdy and helps me keep far better organized at my desk than I was before. Whether using for home organization, office, or schooling at home, this organizer has plenty of space. The compartments at the top are wide enough for up to a 2 inch binder. The bottom can host items like a normal sized pack of paper, incoming or outgoing mail, or whatever else you wish. The frame is very strong and hasn't faltered under normal usage. I was quite pleased it wasn't damaged in shipping and that it didn't have any weird off-putting smells. The bottom of the organizer has rubberpads so it doesn't shift around or bring any damage to whatever surface it's placed upon. I like there's no pull out drawers or anything like that. It's solid and built with compartments already in place. There's nothing to loose or worry about wearing out from in and out like a drawer compartment would. I really like that there's a back so nothing falls out or behind where ever its placed. It can be easily cleaned with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Everything is easier to access held in this organizer. I am very pleased overall and recommend it quite highly.

Sturdy mesh organizer.

I haven't decided where to use this because it's perfect for my kitchen drawer holding a mess of cooking utensils/molds/cutters or a desk drawer. The size is 12" wide, 15 1/4" long and 2 1/4" tall. The small, non-mesh plastic cubby is movable. The mesh design makes it easier to clean up the inevitable dirt and debris that'll collect. No need to empty the organizer because the dirty bits will mostly fall through the bottom, so you just have to lift up the organizer and clean the drawer.
