They're just the perfect length for hanging a wreath and simple enough not to compete with the wreath no matter what color your door!! I'd ordered two and was pleasantly surprised that there were two in Each Package -- Bonus!! Perhaps I'd not fully read the description -- either way it's all good as I can use them in other areas of my home indoors too!!

I purchased this to replace my plastic wreath hanger, which was too thick and made the door difficult to close sometimes. This is perfect - I bought it in 2 lengths, since I have some wreaths with loops and others where the hanger wraps around the wreath itself
