The IKONG Illuminated World Globe is an affordable and well made globe for people of all ages. The "Night Time" view is a must for those interested in learning about the world we live in and constellations alike. 🌎Pros: ⭐In addition to the IKONG being a small, fully functional globe: it makes a great night light. ⭐Great for anyone of any age who is interested in learning about the world or constellations. ⭐Batteries included & Battery operated, making a full view of the world easy. ⭐Lightweight and well made with an on/off switch conveniently located on the top base of the globe. 🔮Cons: ❄️None for the globe itself, it is great and everyone who has seen it placed on my shelf at home has sparked an interest and wanted to use it, when the light is both on and off. ❄️I ordered the "Night Time" View. To me, the description is confusing: making it seem like the "Night Time" view globe will light up as a regular globe (without constellations) in the daytime and will light up with constellations at night time. WoW! Great Quality World Globe

I purchased this world globe as a decoration for my living room. It looks very beautiful and quality is great. Its sturdy, not too big and not too small and night light feauture is amazing. Also to my surprise it is very detailed and accurate, all fonts are sharp and readable + there is a magnifying glass included in this package! Definitely a great buy for a price, I would highly recommend this world globe, I am considering buying another one for my niece:)

Sturdy enough for younger children, the illumination makes the cosmos come alive!

This globe came in less than 48 hours and was packaged well. It is simple to insert the batteries (which come with the product) and when lit at night it is simple beautiful. I have never seen an LED globe before and I was impressed with the detail and the informational brochure that comes with it. The unlit globe shows the world with well demarcated lines for countries, capital cities are shown along with a multitude of other useful information. This is just the right size for a desk or table top and the magnifying glass just adds to the fun and interest in finding and exploring the world. Highly recommend for ages 5 and up.

This is a great globe and the kids love it!!

I received my globe very quickly. When I opened it I was impressed with the way it looks. It looks very nice with the chrome finish on the base and the bracket which holds the globe on its axis. My young kids were excited to help me open it as well. I first showed them where we live on the world map then taught them a little about world geography. Since they saw the pictures on the boxes showing the night view we had to go to a dark room and test it! The 4 AAA batteries which were shipped with it installed easily below the base. When we turned off the room lights and turned on the constellations in the dark it was awesome! The kids love it and so do I. They even included a written guide to all the constellations listed on the globe. The countries seem to be labeled very well and there are even some state capitals listed for the US and different colors for depths of the oceans. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a fun conversation piece and also as a great learning tool to get kids interested in geography and astronomy!

Perfectly sized globe!

Perfectly sized globe for a kids room, and is not too heavy or cumbersome for my five year old twins to move around the house. It is attractive but so educational, and has added value that batteries, a magnifying glass, and constellation teaching pamphlet are included. The first globe sent to me didn’t light up, but the seller promptly sent me a replacement which I have had no problems with.

Very nice globe

This is very high quality product, I loved sturdiness of it. It just the right size, you can easily read. without switching on the light it shows the countries of the world, it is very good for education. the kids will love it. when you switch on the light (night mode) it shows the constellations which fun. it will give totally new perspective, kids used to view maps on computers and phones. it is much better to see it 3D :)

Great globe for kids! Works as advertised!

Great globe! It’s perfect for my son’s room as it’s just slightly smaller than most of the bulky 12” globes out there. The detail on the map is great-exactly what I would like (labeled countries, major cities, bodies of water, etc). My son was simply amazed by the glowing, constellation feature. It functions just as advertised-the map seemingly disappears and shines with the illustrations, names and star outlines of the constellations. I’d buy it again. It even came with batteries!

Fun

I bought this globe for my 8 yr old grandson, so that he could see where Papa is on his business travels. The globe is small, but it is a great size for children. It is fun for the kids to look for and find where Papa is, and they are learning geography while playing. They love the night sky constellations as well, which sometimes serves as a night light. I am so happy I bought this product, it meets and exceeds my expectations!

My daughter has been asking for a globe so we finally purchased this one for her 7th birthday. She loves this!! It comes with a small magnifying glass (which she loves). It’s a very reasonable size for a child. The constellations are a really great addition.
