Fantastic Pressure Gauge
I've had mine for about a week now 2/21/19. This is BY FAR, the best pressure gauge I've had the pleasure of using. The unit fits nicely in the palm on my hand and has a rubber, ruggedized coating that will protect it from drops. I dropped mine several times so far with no ill effects. Everything about this unit is high quality, from the chuck to the display, all top quality that you can feel. The components are precise and well-fitted, enough that you have to purge the hose with the purge button between measurements. I compared this gauge against my others and this one appears to be the most accurate AND the most precise. This gauge repeatedly gave the same reading down to a tenth of a PSI. My other three gauges vary by a half pound or more. Two of those gauges were far more expensive than this unit... I'd recommend this gauge to anyone looking for a precise, high-quality gauge and I've already recommended it to all my auto-x and racing friends.

Accurate, sturdy, well built. Definitely recommend!
I tested this tire gauge on my GMC truck load range E tires, wife's SUV standard radials, utility trailer ST tires and on my motorcycles. I also compared the readings to a couple of my other tire gauges. It was right on target out of the box. Within 1 PSI of the TPMS on my truck, SUV you have to drive it before monitoring starts, but did show accurate readings prior to driving. Motorcycles is easy to get into wheels, with the swivel end and long flexible hose on the unit. Can get in to a couple different style wheels. I have a 90 degree angle fixed hose analog meter for the motorcycles, the rear wheel tire stems are difficult to get at. The swivel did make it much easier to get the right angle with rotation of the tire. It shuts its self off when not in use, display is bright in sunlight. Displays battery life remaining in unit, easy straight forward setting and selections. I also have a JACO flow pro Digital tire pressure gauge, and they are within 1.5 psi of each other, the flow pro pressure reads about 1.5 psi low compared to the TPMS and new gauge. I would definitely recommend this gauge to anyone looking for a versatile pressure gauge. I in the past have had to buy two because the truck tires and trailer tires are 60+ PSI. Has a bleeder valve built in to drop pressure to what is required without removing gauge. This gauge does them all in one. Sturdy and well built, nicely padded unit will prevent damage to gauge. I Highly recommend. +++++

JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge
I've purchased products (including an analog type tire pressure gauge) from JACO Products previously and have found them all to be well made and usefully innovative. This digital tire pressure gauge is no exception. The business end of the gauge is small enough to fit into tight spaces (motorcycles, bicycles, lawn tires, etc.) and swivels as well so you're not fighting to get it into the space and hold connection on air valve. The digital gauge itself is well protected with a rubber cover. Another neat feature is an air release button that allows air pressure adjustment if pressure is too high. Gauge is able to register four different pressure units (PSI, Bar, Pa, and gf/cm2). All easily selectable via UNITS button. Gauge can be turned on or off via the ON button. I've used it to check pressure in several different vehicles and it seems to be fairly consistent and accurate comparing with TPMS indicators. The only negative is that when you pull the gauge off the tire valve, the pressure starts to drop (leak) down, so you can't take a reading and then look at gauge after pulling it off, as it won't be accurate. You can only get an accurate reading while the gauge is hooked up to the tire being checked and directly read the digital readout that gives the pressure to the nearest 1/10th in PSI (if that particular pressure unit is selected). It also is backlit when in use and comes with the required two AAA batteries. I also like the fact that it can handle pressures up to 200 psi. Other than the leak down negative, I would highly recommend this product.

Another Great Jaco Air Product
I have several air gauges and for that matter several Jaco air gauges. This is the nicest by far. This one has the back lit display which would make this gauge easy to use in the dark The display is digital and precise down to the 1/10 lb. It also has a nice nozzle that seems to be well made. The bit (see second picture) in the nozzle also seems to be of a size that should work with most if not all tire valves. The hose is a good length for checking tires and probably most any application where needed. The gauge also features a bleed valve to allow precise adjustment of inflation. The buttons on the front of the gauge turn it on and allow selection of units to be displayed. I had absolutely no issue reading the pressure of my tires with gauge. I would recommend it.

Good Value
Let me start by disclosing that I received this product as part of a promotion. I own another Jaco product, the JACO FlowPro Digital Tire Inflator Gauge - 200 PSI, and in general I've been very happy with it. After testing this gauge on multiple sets of tires across a fleet of 7 vehicles, I'm very happy with this gauge. One of my favorite features is that the hose swivels at both the gauge and the valve stem adapter. The FlowPro does not do this, which means it can be awkward to position the gauge for best viewing because of how the adapter sits on the valve stem. The accuracy of this gauge is a double-edged sword. I like that this reads down to 0.1psi, as I take my vehicles to the track and the drag strip and tire pressure is key to performance in both venues. However, it also means that the reading will fluctuate with tiny variations that a gauge with less resolution doesn't show, and you may find yourself staring at the gauge longer than expected while you wait for the number to stop moving. This behavior is compounded by the valve stem adapter, which requires you to align perfectly square on the valve in order to get a reading without leaking air and affecting the reading. This can be quite frustrating, especially when trying to read hot tire pressures in a quick pit situation. However, this challenge is not unique to this gauge--others that use a similar valve adapter design suffer from the same issue--so I have not subtracted any stars from the rating, just make note of this as a buyer if you think it may be an issue for your use. The backlight is a huge help, as I rarely have perfect lighting when checking tire pressures. The downside is that it times out after ~30s, and does not turn back on when pressure is applied (say, with the next tire). Personally I find this aggravating, as the only way to turn the backlight on again is to turn the gauge off and back on. (Of interest, the FlowPro's backlight does turn back on when pressure is re-applied.) Again, I didn't subtract any stars for this because not every one is checking their tire pressure in poor lighting like I seem to be. Another nice feature is the auto shutoff after ~2.5min if the pressure doesn't change. The FlowPro doesn't do this, and I've killed more than one set of batteries due to a fundamental design flaw that affects both gauges: the 'On' button turns the gauge on immediately (no hold-for-on required), and it's incredibly easy to accidentally activate the gauge just moving it around the garage or transporting it in a tool bag. Last but not least, the accuracy of the gauge 'seems' right. I don't have any calibrated gauges against which to compare it, so I compared it to TPMS readings and other gauges, both digital and analog. It lined up well with these other sources, so I'm inclined to trust it. My biggest concern is typically the impact of changes in tire pressure on tire performance, so as long as I'm using the same gauge in similar conditions and get repeatable readings I'm less concerned about the absolute accuracy of the gauge (within reason). PROS: - Good price - Easily replaceable common/inexpensive batteries (2xAAA) - Dual swivel hose - Backlit display - Auto-shutoff - Accuracy CONS: - Short backlight timeout, pressure change does not re-activate - Accuracy (double-edged sword, see text) - No power-on prevention feature - Fiddly valve adapter

JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge - Recommended High Quality, Heavy Duty and Accurate
I have carried the earlier (non-digital) version of this Jaco gauge in my motorcycle for well over a year and love it. I needed a 2nd separate gauge for my home garage and was very excited to see that Jaco has a digital option. The gauge arrived late last night so I have been putting it to the test. First let me start by saying this thing is built like it belongs in a commercial garage. The Gauges Main Cover is some sort of solid ABS plastic wrapped with a robust rubber textured protector that will surely keep it out of harm’s way. The fittings and pressure relief valve are all solid brass, chuck itself is very thick metal and there are no air leaks. The hose is about a foot long and plenty long enough to get in under the fenders to check the pressure on the motorcycle. I tested the accuracy vs my Non-digital Jaco gauge and one from another manufacture. Both of the Jaco gauges readings were identical every time. However, the readings from the brand was over or under pressure depending on what I was testing. The features of the Jaco that I like the best include: 1) The digital Gauge uses two AAA batteries. Most other digital gauges use "watch type" batteries which are hard to find when you are out on the road and they don't do well during cold Chicago Winters. 2) The Digital Display is BIG and Blue. It easy to read, even out in the bright sunshine. 3) The Digital Display has a battery meter so you know when it’s time to change the batteries out. 4) The whole gauge is really heavy duty but the swivels are smooth and easy to manipulate. I typically loose a bit of air every time I apply the chuck to the valve stem but the design of the Jaco chuck makes it squared up and airtight as soon as you push it on. I honestly can't find anything negative to report regarding the actual gauge, over all I am very impressed. My only wish is for a couple of accessories to be included or at least available as an option: Wish 1) An accessory hook attachment to hang the gauge from the compressor or tool box. (I made my own from a coat hanger but would be nice if it were integrated) Wish 2) An optional carry case would be a great option. I religiously check my tire pressure on motorcycle trips and would love to have a form fitted case to store the gauge safely in the saddlebags. (Jaco if you take this tip remember to leave empty space in the case for battery storage.) Really happy with the entire purchase, granted there are cheaper options but the quality and accuracy is definitely worth the step up. If you’re in need of a quality accurate tire pressure gauge you can’t go wrong with the JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge.

Accurate, easy to use and read
I tested this tire gauge on both of my cars and compared the readings to a couple of my other tire gauges. It was right on target out of the box. I have a different pressure gauge from Jaco and I love the improved design of this swivel chuck. The angle of it makes it easier to get to the valve stem and they put a flat smooth side on the back for your thumb to press the chuck in. Very easy and comfortable to use. The protective rubber guard fits nice in the hand and gives you a good grip. The digital display is awesome. It lights up brilliantly and takes any guess work out of what you're reading. You will have no problem seeing this in complete darkness. They also have a battery saver that will shut it off after 1 1/2 minutes of inactivity. I tested that and it indeed shut itself off. It also shows how much battery you have left. If you're using the air bleeder valve to let air out of the tire, I found the digital reading falls a little below of the actual tire pressure as you're letting the air out. You have to let go of the bleeder valve and the gauge will then adjust to give you the actual pressure. The only thing that remains to be seen is how long the batteries last. I keep these gauges inside my car so I don't know how the cold weather will effect battery life. I will update that part in the future. I would recommend to Jaco to maybe include a fabric bag to help protect the screen while storing in your car or elsewhere. All in all it's a great product and I highly recommend.

Very nice gauge
To everyone who claims this gauge is accurate, you don’t know what you are talking about! Only a comparison against a known standard can determine that. I have a few other gauges, and this gauge agrees with them relatively well. However, this makes the gauge REPRODUCIBLE rather than accurate! Trust me, I’m an engineer. With that said, this is a good product. I have a few other JACO products, and they are all well-made. Pro: - Good quality materials , it can withstand some abuse (not that you should be hitting a gauge with a hammer) - It’s comfortable to use, the attach angle to the valve stem is spot on. I’ve seen this as a problem on other gauges - JACO claims a broad range calibrated to a tolerance much tighter than most people will need. I don’t have the equipment to validate, though Con: - Uses batteries, unlike mechanical models. But I suspect I can get a few years out of alcaline batteries with normal usage. *** If you liked my review, please consider clicking the “Helpful” button. Tire Pressure Gauge for motorcycles
Not a bad tire pressure gauge to use with motorcycles. It fits pretty much all motorcycles. But as always, and even with my small hands I had to do some interesting twisting and angles to clear the 330mm dual rotors on one sportbike, but this is always been a challenge and tough for any gauge or air chuck even to fill the tires. Even the mini/micro analog tire gauges still require some well thought out approaches and angles to get a good reading, and those gauges are pretty inaccurate. This gauge works best if you get the reading while holding it on the tire valve and use that as your current pressure tire. Once you release it off the tire valve the pressure drops, so whatever the gauge shows then is "not" the pressure I would suggest using. This is obviously due to the brief amount that you just bleed off into the air and what is still held in the gauge which gives you your current reading at that moment. Beside getting the most accurate reading while holding it on the valve, which is opposite to all the analog extruding bar gauges, it seems to work pretty well and appears to be made decent. It says made in PRC to be clever and not blatantly obvious, which by now we should all know is China, or People's Republic of China. We shall see how it holds up, and only time will tell, if it is still working accurately in 2 years and the Dunlop truck at the race track still says its accurate; if so I will append my review to indicate it still works.

New style chuck, displays a reading to 0.10 PSI
The JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge I received the JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge just a few days after putting in my order. Due to a family emergency I had no chance to check it out for almost to a week. The first thing I checked was the new style chuck, it rotates 360 degrees like the JACO standard dial gauges chuck, but it is larger, much easier to handle and secure to the tire valve without leaking. A major improvement in my opinion. I like the fact that it uses AAA battery's, an auto shut-off and has a battery life indicator. The back light will allows easy reading in my garage. Most important for any tire gauge is accuracy and I expect a digital gauge to be not only easier to read but more accurate than the standard dial gauge. I checked a couple tires and got consistent readings. For my purposes a reading within 1/2 lb. PSI would be acceptable and this gauge displays a reading to 0.10 PSI.
