My experience tells me this is an awesome tool and I doubt anyone will have a situation ... My Toyota Sienna oil filter was so tight that I thought I was going to have to go to drastic measures to remove it. It took a lot of force to loosen it even with this tool, but it did it, no slipping, no problem. I had borrowed a inferior version of this tool from a neighbor that kept slipping. This tool is well made, includes a 1/2 to 3/8's adapter, and it's arms are clearly designed to bite into the filter without slipping. I may never need this wrench again, but it was worth every penny. My experience tells me this is an awesome tool and I doubt anyone will have a situation where this tool wont do the job. Two thumbs up!

Does what it states it does

So far so good. Used it for one oil change. My oil filter housing was screwed on REAL tight. This helped me get it off.

Works on 2014 Toyota RAV4 2.5L

Works well and fit the filter cap perfectly. It didn’t break the first time I used it even when having to add a piece of pipe to the ratchet to get the filter cap to budge, it was on super tight!

Great quality for the price! Works like a charm with 2009 Lexus IS250. Easy to use and exact fit. Save hundreds of dollars by doing it yourself and buy good oil and filters. Cheaper than the dealership and better quality!

100% worth it!

Instead of paying 35$ for this I took the risk in getting a cheap one kind of scared that it will break. Glad I bought it. Used to get oil change from express. They probably used an impact wrench because the filter was stuck. Eventually with a lot of force I got out the filter. I noticed that the filter wrench was stuck on the filter itself. Had to hammer it out. No big deal. For that reason I think it will last a good while.

Sienna 2011, I got tired of trying to turn it by hand every time! The tool just makes it much easier.

Have to have it 3/8 drive

My filter was on so tight it took me a while to get it off. I couldn't have gotten off with out it tho

Simple to use, well made. Used it on my 2008 Lexus rx350

MUST HAVE!!

bought this and after a lot of struggle it did the trick and without breaking the cheap plastics filter any more than we already had. I'll be buying a metal filter capsule for my next oil change and getting rid of the crappy plastic one.Just make sure they include a crush washer for the drain plug. YouTube has some good videos showing how to remove this kind of filter if it’s your first time. Good luck!

Don't buy the more expensive one, this one is fine.

Mine has worked awesome, I wouldn't recommend buying the more expensive one. It really doesn't take much. Just make sure you have it sitting all the way in because there are sized slots.
